BREAKING: “Go after everybody!” Trump launches brutal, sweeping ICE crackdowns in California after urging Iran to nuke Los Angeles and San Diego. The President has declared war on this blue state… In a transparent effort to energize his hateful base ahead of he midterms, Trump has launched “Operation Safe California,” a grimly ironic name given his masked thug’s history of killing innocent Americans during these kinds of operations. While ICE will supposedly target the “worst of the worst,” they’ll also be going after peaceful, noncriminal undocumented migrants, which will mean more families separated and communities torn apart. The cruelty is the point. The Washington Examiner reports that the operations began several days ago in San Diego (which has not been wiped out by nuclear weapons despite the President openly fantasizing about it) and are expected to drag on for at least another 45 days. ICE has ordered it agents — who we know to be undertrained, overarmed, and out for blood — to arrest every undocumented migrant they encounter, regardless of whether or not they have criminal records. In other words, this isn’t about keeping Californians “safe,” it’s about deporting nonwhite people in pursuit of Stephen Miller’s soft ethnic cleansing agenda. "Management want numbers," a source told the Examiner. Another source revealed that agents have been “ "told to go after anybody; they can pick up anybody.” The operations are expected to tear through San Diego, then Los Angeles, then finally San Francisco right before the elections. “The challenge may be San Francisco. There may be more pushback," said one source. The timing is no accident. Trump has run this playbook before. He wants to foment clashes between protestors and federal agents so that he can respond with state violence, cracking skulls to project a “law and order” persona. We also can’t rule out the possibility that he wants to cultivate civil chaos as a pretext for intererring in the elections directly. California state policy restricts state and local authorities from collaborating with federal immigration forces in some crucial ways and we can expect Governor Gavin Newsom to take a bold stand against this fascist powe grab.
