Chris Achilleos painted a lot of the early Target covers and drew inspiration from a wide range of sources. Check out the covers for Auton Invasion and Three Doctors, side-by-side with their influences!

I'm going back to posting stuff! I might not be able to do polls anymore due to the stupid new algorithms or whatever - thanks, Elon - but I can do stuff for discussion and retweeting (reXing?) Let's start with some Target covers that are 100% fake 😁

I'm changing my tune. I hope Doctor Who returns to TV as quickly as possible, just so people stop recommending I watch that AI shit that's doing the rounds.

Whilst speaking about Bookish to the RT Team, Mark Gatiss is positive that Doctor Who will one day return to TV… but worries that the tender promise is akin to 1989, and that “maybe it's just time for a proper break, because you want people to miss it and have fresh ideas”.

I love X-Men 97, but I must admit I come out of episodes going "that would have been a 2-parter in the original series". It's a pity they don't give these stories the space to breathe.
kat 💫@parkcrstormJul 15
x-men 97 is a great show, but it's main issue is the pacing. so much story to tell with so little time. honestly s1 could've been entirely about inferno, s2 bastion, etc. pick a major story arc to focus on for a whole season w/some solo stories thrown in as sub plots

"in Circuit Breaker, she finds herself working alongside two UNIT scientists, Osgood and Andrew, who idolise the Doctor and encourage her to approach problems more like the incarnations they know.“ Not keen on this notion at all. radiotimes.com/tv/sci-fi/doc…

While it doesn't really make sense for the Fugitive Doctor to have one, that's probably the best Sonic Screwdriver we've had since the War Doctor's.
