I asked ChatGPT to write a sarcastic tweet about banning ChatGPT in education. I think I hit a sore spot.

Created a story map for my Agile Classroom site. I had a lack of clarity and this helped a ton.

“The treatment of teachers as creative designers, rather than delivery agents for standards, is one of the most impactful practices that we saw … Allowing teachers to design, iterate, test, pivot, & change was key to the success of these schools.” @JaysonR @justinbathon @mcleod

We shouldn't start preparing kids for college when they are 5. We should be helping them learn to be a good friend, play with others, and love learning.

Are your high school kids acting like middle schoolers? Middle schoolers acting like elementary kids? If so you’re not alone. Socially & academically many students are 1.5 yrs behind where they “should” be. It’s not your fault. Don’t give up. This year is a marathon not a sprint.

SCIENCE:
If you don't make mistakes, you're doing it wrong.
If you don't correct those mistakes, you're doing it really wrong.
If you can't accept that you're mistaken, you're not doing it at all.

You don’t have to fail in order to learn.
But if you do fail, make sure you learn.

I think one of the hardest thing about teaching online is that there are NEVER enough office hours to meet student need. I’m constantly having to add in little pockets of time - lunches, breaks between classes, after school... and it still doesn’t feel like enough. Anyone else?

A beaming student told me today about how much she has to tell her parents each night about one of her classes: a class that is self-paced, self-regulated, and non-graded. Is she so happy despite the format - or because of it? #agile @leysinamericans #justsayin
