A farmer, tired of rats destroying his crops and stealing his grain, came up with a clever but cruel plan. He threw a dead pig into a deep, abandoned well. Attracted by the smell, nearly 80 rats rushed into the well to feast on the carcass. At first, everything seemed wonderful. There was more than enough food for everyone, and the rats ate until they were satisfied. But when the food was gone, they discovered something terrifying. The walls of the well were too steep to climb. They were trapped. Days passed, and hunger turned into desperation. Desperation turned into aggression. The rats that had once eaten peacefully beside one another began fighting for survival. Eventually, they began killing and eating each other. One by one, their numbers dwindled until only a single rat remained. Its eyes were bloodshot, and it had survived by consuming its own kind. Then the farmer returned, lowered a rope into the well, and rescued the last surviving rat. But he didn't save it out of kindness or compassion. The farmer knew the rat had learned to survive by hunting other rats. When he released it into his fields, it would continue killing its own kind instead of eating his grain. The farmer had turned his enemy into his greatest weapon. And that is the lesson of divide and conquer. Those who control the trap don't need to fight the battles themselves. They simply create the conditions in which others turn against one another. The rats believed their enemies were the other rats. They never realized that the true enemy was the farmer who had put them there. The greatest danger isn't always the enemy standing in front of you. Sometimes it's the one who created the conflict and stands quietly watching you destroy each other. Before you turn against your neighbor because of their political beliefs, ask yourself who benefits from keeping Americans divided. While we fight each other over Republican and Democrat, we may be overlooking those who profit from the conflict. Perhaps the real question isn't which side you're on, but who built the well—and why they want us fighting at the bottom of it.

This takes the concept of “malicious compliance” to a whole new level. Stop the property tax insanity!

Listen up, conservative carpetbaggers.⚠️ Somewhere between crossing the Georgia line and slamming an overpriced Publix sub into your gaping maw, your brain melted into gray sludge. Voting red does not grant you diplomatic immunity, an open-mic set about tap water, or the God-given right to treat the entire Sunshine State like God's waiting room with palm trees. Oh, you voted against taxes? Fantastic. Print it out, roll it tight, and shove it directly into the swampy parts where the sun don't shine. We were sunburnt conservatives sweating through our clothes well before you decided to invade our paradise. The issue isn't your ballot, Sal. It's that colossal, flapping trap beneath your nose. We do not give a flying dehydrated lovebug about your opinions! We don't care about your pathetic pizza, your sacred bagel yeast, your pristine toll roads, or the holy, unpasteurized dairy of your frozen homeland. We don't need your opinion on dough fermentation. We would rather drown ourselves in a retention pond. You rolled down I-95 in a rented U-Haul, doing 97 in a school zone, acting like you personally invented civilized society. Newsflash: you didn't. The first civilized colony actually started here in St. Augustine. We did it first, we did it better, and you just rode the coattails. 👍 You spend half your life screaming at immigrants to assimilate, yet the second you step onto our sand, you're screeching about delis like a wounded pelican. That accent could strip paint. Every sentence sounds like a goose fighting a fax machine. "Cawfee." "Wah-tah." "Youse guys." Practice what you screech, Carmine. Drop the hypertensive tri-state theatrics before someone feeds your flip-flops to a bull shark with you still in them... We operate at the speed of a heavily sedated manatee by choice. We do not honk at a green light 0.000004 seconds after it changes. We do not throw up middle fingers in the Publix parking lot because someone took the shady spot under the palms. We also do not narrate the entire checkout line in that nasal, frozen-nostril bark like the deli counter back home is still taking orders. Look in the mirror: you are a political and geographical refugee. Your home state collapsed under the weight of pothole taxes and winter slush. You fled. You lost. You will never, in the history of human consciousness, see a native Floridian pack up a Penske, drive to Trenton, and start weeping tears of joy over the local masonry. Most of us would actively drive off the Sunshine Skyway before driving past a sign that says "Welcome to the Garden State." So with zero respect, and less patience: nobody cares about the red wave you think you rode in on. Shut your pizza hole. Chug the lukewarm, twenty-dollar frozen margarita. Fasten your overpriced Tommy Bahomo over your blistered chest, park the accent, and shut up for ten consecutive seconds so you can absorb how we actually do things down here. 👍 Congrats on pressing a button in a voting booth, hero. Now do a three-point turn, point the radiator cap north, and go fix the broken toilet you came from before you allow it to spill over into our paradise. 🚽🤦🤡

Saw a post by a 27 year old today. He was saying, Boomers need to see what it’s like to be us, trying to live off what we make! I replied with, you’ve been brainwashed! I made $1.75 an hour in 1974 with a pregnant wife and son on the way. I volunteered for every over time chance I could, so we could survive! I made $8.00 an hour into the late 80’s. My wife worked as well, so we could provide for our two children! I’m so sick of all these ME youngsters of today!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
$1.75 per hour in 1974 equals about $11.90 in 2026 dollars after adjusting for inflation via the Consumer Price Index. The federal minimum wage was $1.60 per hour prior to increasing to $2.00 effective May 1974. officialdata.org/us/inflation/1… dol.gov/agencies/whd/m…

I'm old enough to remember when you could go to Walmart at 2:00 AM and buy a live lobster, a loaf of bread, a shotgun, some ammo, and an exotic fish for your aquarium.

I'm astonished at the number of younger people demonizing the boomer generation here on X. Boomers have not made your lives harder; Democrats (progressives, socialists) have. Please take a class in basic economics.

This whole "blame the boomers" narrative is getting old. If the people you're complaining about are 46–61 years old, most of them aren't boomers. They're Gen X. And honestly, Gen X is exhausted from hearing the same complaints on repeat. We didn't get free college. Most of us never had guaranteed pensions. Housing wasn't magically cheap when adjusted for inflation, and plenty of us spent decades working, sacrificing, and starting from scratch. Every generation faces its own challenges. Ours did too. The difference is that we were taught that life isn't fair, nobody is coming to rescue you, and success usually comes from adapting, working, and pushing forward when things don't go your way. You don't have to like that message, but constantly looking for someone else to blame won't improve your situation. At some point, personal responsibility matters more than finding a new generation to be angry at.

My Down syndrome brother Erick is my bleeding heart libtard Aunt Lisa’s pet project. She thinks because he has a disability she’s going to turn him into a liberal Every weekend she invites him to the No Kings protest downtown, and finally last weekend he said yes. This was like a major victory for my Aunt Lisa Erick has a Cricut in his bedroom and he loves the thing. For those that don’t know, it’s a machine that cuts out iron on letters and designs so you can make your own shirts. Well Saturday comes around and Erick comes walking out of his room with a massive smile on his face wearing a shirt he made that says “I’M WITH THE RETARD ->” and a sign that says “FAGGOTS AGAINST TRUMP”. He throws a hoodie on and turns his sign around and Aunt Lisa unwittingly takes him to the protest with her own massive smile of victory Thirty minutes later my mom gets a call from an irate Aunt Lisa who is yelling that Erick is wearing an “offensive shirt” and waving a sign with a “slur”. The funniest part is when she tried to get him back to the car he started pretending he was deaf so now it looks like she’s yelling at this deaf kid with Down syndrome in front of all her woke friends I love this kid

🐻 THE BEAR SHOULD’VE STAYED OUT OF THE TAX FIGHT. The Florida Sheriffs Association decided to oppose Amendment 3. That was probably before realizing the Meme King knows how to read a budget. 👑😂 So now every time they tell taxpayers why government desperately needs more of our money… poke. Helicopters. poke. Luxury vehicles. poke. Training facilities. poke. Travel, consultants, equipment, and spending decisions nobody expected taxpayers to actually examine. POKE. POKE. POKE. 👉🐻 And suddenly the people lecturing us about “essential funding” seem awfully irritated that someone is opening the receipts. I’m strongly pro-law enforcement. I’m just not pro-blank-check. If you’re going to campaign against taxpayers keeping more of their own money, you’d better be prepared for taxpayers to inspect how you spent the money you already got. The bear can growl all it wants. I’m not putting the stick down. 👑
