I am a Med Student from @CurtinUni Medical School.
I am from the country and all I’ve ever wanted to be is a Rural Generalist. Our rural clinical school placements for year 4 are oversubscribed and have been for a few years, fingers crossed this translates to the coalface 🤞🏽
I was born in the city.
I wanted to become what I could see - an urban doctor.
Then they showed me a Rural Generalist. They showed me flexibility in training. They showed me a better lifestyle, kids outdoors, more land.
I became what I could see.

I chose to be a GP over any other Specialty.
I have super-powers like composing Mental Healthcare Plans, Leading an Emergency Resus, Pregnancy Counselling, Team Care Arrangements, Indefinite Referrals.
When will the govt value my worth and fix Medicare? #auspol
A must read if you’re following the AFL draft.
Go well Luamon, you are a true inspiration.
"I just love her to bits."
Luamon Lual's parents moved to Australia as refugees from South Sudan in the early 2000s. Three years ago, his mum Regina had a sudden stroke and died.
How her loss has shaped the draftee and why you'll be barracking for him👇

This is Stella. She’s 14, has a heart murmur and all the allergies. Stoked that at least this all fits in with my cardio and immunology blocks at Med school this semester 💕
