I enjoy coding, I enjoy game design, I enjoy modeling, I enjoy putting it all together and see it come to life. I might be slow, and I might not be the best dev in existence, but I enjoy it. And I want to learn and improve.
If I fall behind, so be it. This is not a race.
Have to feel incredibly for the staff at bioware, but the whole practice EA has of gobbling up talented studios and fucking them over sideways as they pluck away talent just needs to stop.
So many great memories from many of these games, thank you for making them possible!

An AI slop channel called The Football Lens ripped the script from my video beat for beat, changing words here and there, narrated by an AI Jamie Carragher.
Not really sure what I can do about it either... they'll continue to steal from everyone.

So in an attempt to highlight what will be changing for version 4.0 of the #FM26 and #FM27 3D Stadium and Environment Megapack you'll notice a few things right off the bat. The name is changing, and that is not without reason.
Let's call this the first "deep dive"
The single biggest change in this version is how the environment looks, reacts, feels and interacts with the matchday. From this version on you will have an astrologically correct day and night cycle that will change how the match looks. This allows matches in Brasil to look brighter during the day and have shadows behave differently since the sun angle is steeper when compared to say Norway where the shadows are longer.
This interacts with the structure shadows too, allowing real-time moving shadows on the pitch which showcase the stadium realistically. Furthermore, this will let you experience sunsets and moonrises accurate to the time of year as well as dynamic weather starting and stopping when it's cloudy, something which interacts directly with the players on the pitch.
The second biggest change is how lighting is treated. As of 4.0 there's specific lighting that takes place depending of time of day, with nights having a brighter, colder feel to them, but daytime games being less blue. This has been a tremendous rewrite, but the results speak for themselves!
Alongside that the amount of stadiums have increased from 270 to 400. They've not only been added, every stadium will have seen the lighting and turfs revisited and improved whilst not increasing file sizes - and in many cases shrinking them!
The video I've included shows off the shadows and pitch changes as well as the day/night changes.
Hopefully this has been a slight bit insightful, happy to have this posted too :D

PSA: Can confirm that the NVIDIA app is automatically updating and has *enabled by default* a setting which allows AI agents to control the app with very permissive rights.
Besides the obnoxious privacy invasion and lame AI features, it's a high security risk you may not want.
This is the company that starts a lawsuit against Valve for Steam being a monopoly and then wonders why people choose Steam when there's this steaming pile of shite.
Stick to giving out free games and you might stay relevant guys.

I really shouldn't get emotional about a new feature in a computer game. But having played football manager for years, this is genuinely massive for me as a lifelong wheelchair user. It really is fabulous that I be able to create myself authentically within the game. It's one of the few games that I can actually play because it's mainly mouse-based and doesn't require significant keyboard inputs, which as most of you know, are not good for my hands. So, while some people may see this as a little thing that they will never personally use, I am genuinely absolutely ecstatic that it's finally in and it's really positive for representation of disabled people, and demonstrating that football truly is for everyone.
Thank you @FootballManager

ALT A screenshot from a tweet by the official football manager Twitter account, showing that as part of the next release, players will be able to have their managerial avatar be a wheelchair user. This specific image shows a black person wearing a light blue top black trousers and grey shoes, sat in an electric wheelchair

200/400 stadiums of the #FM26 3D Stadium Megapack have now received their turf overhauls ahead of version 4.0! With the beta probably coming out in 2 weeks time, I need to get a move on haha!
Hopefully everything works properly for #FM27, and I can release version 4.0 then! I will release the full updated patch notes for the pack as well in time for that.
Version 4.0 will be as big an upgrade over 3.0 was as 3.0 was on 2.0. The first 2 weeks will be early access for FM27, and after that it will release for free and will be available for download on various platforms.
