Today marks the 77th year of the NHS! 💙
Thank you to all our incredible staff across the NHS for your continued hard work.
From clerks to cooks, midwives to nurses, pharmacists to radiographers and many, many more – it’s our people who make us.

So true, @wesstreeting please reconsider! As a health services delivery charity we know the value of this advocacy and scrutiny, please don’t silence the voices of the vulnerable. These voices have made us more accessible and more efficient! #JustNotASaving @RLong_Bailey

How can you justify abolishing the independent #Healthwatch function?
Healthwatch functions sit well alongside charities and social enterprises, delivering independent, trusted, cost-effective scrutiny and insight in place
@HWSalford @RLong_Bailey @MWheelerMP
We stand together against @10DowningStreet benefit reforms, slashing PIP & Incapacity & forcing a further 250000 disabled adults and children into poverty.
@basiccharity are here for a free brew, advice, care & well-being. Thanks to @RLong_Bailey MP for standing up for us 🙏🏼
We remain unable to access our charities funds for almost a week & things are becoming desperate @Caf are not answering calls or emails!
We may soon have to temp close our doors 🥺 @NCVO @RLong_Bailey @ChtyCommission @salfordcvs @financialtimes @TheFCA #PleaseHelp

We had the pleasure of hosting a workshop for our team over at @basiccharity this morning. The team at Basic were very welcoming and chatty! We covered our tools and managing endings thoughtfully, lots of discussion and action points for us! #socialprescribng #development #growth
Fantastic final full week of 2024 complete @basiccharity with the highlight of the #BasicFamily #ChristmasParty supported by #Freshfields and enjoyed by all 🎄
Remember, we’re always here if you need us, but in the meantime Merry Christmas and we’ll see you in the New Year!
Thanks to the whole team @basiccharity for the huge extra effort this week, it’s not been an easy one but we’ve done it and done it well 😊
Enjoy the weekend #BasicFamily #LightingTheWay
Fantastic to spend an evening with so many fantastic #ChangeMakers @salfordcvs AGM.

Our #ChristmasCarols are underway @basiccharity with @nordoffrobbins and the #BasicFamily oh what fun to be rocking around the Christmas tree #MusicTherapy #Joyful #Community #itsbeginningtolookalotlikechristmas🎄🎁
Disappointed that our travel service will not fully operate tomorrow - dismal failure of @Halfords_uk to deliver upon a fully paid for order and took no action to assist!
Those travelling for urgent treatment have been contacted if they are affected by this failure 😞
Disappointed @Halfords_uk haven’t responded as promised to our concerns or letting our #DisabledPassengers down. #Halfords don’t seem to care. What a disgusting culture we have been supporting by being loyal customers, our research says we aren’t alone. #DailyTweetUntilResolved
Over a week has passed since @Halfords_uk let us down with a paid for order and forced one of our vehicles off the road leaving #disabledPassengers stuck without essential treatment and no response #HalfordsDontCare
Looks like the Christmas elves have been in @basiccharity overnight

Great to see another #VolunteerDriver inducted into our EWAV travel team today. Glyn completed his training and took our CEO out to give the experience of wheelchair travel. Thanks to all #Volunteers this #InternationalVolunteersDay #YouAreTheDifference @SalfordCVS
Good morning #BASICfamily - it looks like the cold snap has passed for now, so why not get down to your assisted gym today for an assisted workout with your team?
Enjoy a complimentary coffee and a natter afterwards in your Cafe - it’s good to talk 😊
