one of the big goals of the year ticked
joining @apcollective
I feel like we have a huge “build in public” culture that we’ve started expecting people to share every thought, goal, and update for everyone to see
so when a profile looks empty or someone isn’t very active, we assume they are gone
but most people don’t work like that
a lot of the deals, conversations, and actual work still happen behind the scenes
thats why never assume you know what someone is doing based on their profile, you don’t know what they’ve been working on
There’s people on this app who barely post and you probably assume they’ve disappeared
But many of them are still here, working behind the scenes with some of the biggest names in the space and doing incredibly well
You’d never know just from looking at their profile
Some people are just too busy working to post, and I respect it
At 9AM EST today somebody abused a bug in Payment Processor V2 to steal 10 Meebits, 50 Otherdeeds, 10 WoW, and 235 Desperate Apewives.
It wasn't until over 12 hours later that somebody reported it to me, and upon digging in I realized that a great many NFTs were subject to the same exploit.
I got in touch with the team over at LimitBreak and they quickly paused Payment Processor V3, which was subject to the same exploit. Unfortunately, V2 was not pausable, so the only path towards protecting affected assets was to run a whitehat operation.
Similarly, V3 on ApeChain is temporarily in a state where it cannot be paused, so ApeChain assets approved to V3 needed to be saved as well.
All in all, we rescued 23,155 NFTs worth north of $5.7M USD.
We later discovered that a similar exploit could be used in reverse to steal WETH. 660 WETH was at risk, which we unfortunately were not fast enough to recover. Apologies to those affected.
Shout out to @Boomskite for flagging the initial exploit tx to me, and @coffeedev @0xjustadev and @whiteoakkong for acting quickly and assisting with the recovery.
All NFTs are safely relocated. Soon, owners will be able claim them back after revoking the exploitable approvals.
Addresses to revoke below.
People have spent so much time trying to find the perfect pfp something which is good and unique that makes everyone remember them
just for one trend to come along and make the entire ct look the same lmao
defi is already complicated enough. then someone introduces a new yield primitive?
that’s why i make it my mission to explain complex defi mechanics in simple terms for you
today we have 3jane lcc
jane? lcc? wadafuk is that?
well, walk with me ✍️
imagine if you could earn yield simply by promising to make capital available when it's needed?
that's essentially what @3janexyz is building with levered callable capital (lcc)
simple as abc!
still don't get it? well i assume some won't
so here's the simpler version ↓
> imagine 3jane has an opportunity to lend $1m to a fintech company
> the deal isn't ready yet, so collecting that $1m upfront would leave capital sitting idle
instead, 3jane asks investors to commit funds today and only provide them when the deal is ready
you deposit a small margin, backed by usdc, and commit to providing up to 13.33x that amount in capital
in return, you earn around 20% apy on your posted margin, paid in usdc
your remaining capital stays with you until 3jane actually needs it
if a capital call happens, you have 9 days to fund your obligation. the funded capital then earns additional yield and enters a 35-day cooldown before you receive usd3
okay i get it, buy why should i care?
because there are potentially three ways to benefit bruh!
you earn:
> usdc yield on your margin, plus yield on capital deployed after a call
> 3jane points, adding another potential layer of rewards
> plus a possible arbitrage opportunity if usd3 trades above its exchange rate when you receive it
of course, this isn't free money
**you're making a real commitment. missing a capital call can result in your margin being slashed, and the underlying lending strategy carries its own risks
but it is one of the most gucci way to earn out there today imo
want to explore lcc?

After this post I am seeing a lot more people talking about other collections with similar pattern
did zec nft szn top already?
I just noticed that lately, Sorry for the people who did mint but @zaddrnet is literally @the1969ETH who rugged some months ago.
They didn't even bother to change traits or the style of Nfts, now they raised +50 Zec which is around $75,000
Those guys coming back to take our money again is honestly unacceptable, we really need to do better...
There are a lot of forms going around for WLs, and a lot of them require you to connect your X account
Make sure you read and understand what they’re actually asking access to before connecting
This forms meta is picking up, and that’s when the bad actors start coming in too
Everyone is cooking and there’s a lot of excitement, but make sure you don’t get carried away in it. One wrong click can cost you a lot and ruin years of work
So be careful and keep clicking
