Use this not only identify your friends, but also as a blueprint to being a better friend.

Clint Eastwood was literally just sitting in the audience, minding his own business, when Charlton Heston didn’t show up to the Oscars and they suddenly pushed Clint onstage to read Moses’ intro cards. Imagine being known for barely saying three words in a movie, then getting thrown into a live broadcast to read biblical prose with absolutely no preparation. He looked like he was silently hoping someone would come save him.

Getting roasted by Cher would somehow feel like a compliment. That’s basically the energy of Conchita’s story about Cher having an opinion on her look. The funny part is that she doesn’t tell it like someone who got insulted — she tells it like someone who just got proof that one of her idols was actually paying attention. And honestly, that reaction makes sense. When someone you’ve admired for years suddenly comments on you, even the criticism can become a story you’re excited to tell. There are celebrity compliments you remember. Then there are celebrity roasts you remember forever.

One piece under your foot already hurts like crazy. Jumping on a whole pile of them? That's next-level pain. Wild game.
Chance would be a fine thing 😏😱

I like going to concerts, but if I’m paying a couple hundred dollars for a ticket, I want to hear the artist actually sing. I get using backing tracks if there’s a big production going on. Dancing. Costume changes. Pyro. Whatever. The problem is when the backing track starts doing most of the work. If most of the vocals are already recorded, what am I paying all that money for? I don’t care if every note is perfect. I just want the live concert to actually be live. Does this bother anyone else, or is it just me??

She gets pregnant He leaves People call her names They judged her raising a child alone and even call the baby a “bastard” But somehow, there’s no name for the man who walked away. She carries the pregnancy. She raises the child. She faces the judgement. And still, she keeps going.

My twin sister, Ella, died four years ago. I still reach for her hand in the dark. We were identical. Same face, same voice, same laugh. People couldn't tell us apart. We used to swap places in school just for fun. She'd take my math test, I'd take her history quiz. We thought we were so clever. We shared everything. A room. A wardrobe. A heartbeat, it felt like. Then she got sick. It was fast. Leukemia. Diagnosed in March, gone by August. I held her hand when she took her last breath. I felt the exact moment she left. It was like someone turned off a light inside her. And a part of me went with her. The first year, I couldn't function. I quit my job. I barely left the house. I wore her clothes every day. I sprayed her perfume on my pillow. I listened to her voicemails just to hear her voice. I talked to her. Out loud. I asked her why she left me.
