Even 13 years later, StarCraft’s Heart of the Swarm opening cinematic is still beyond anything we get now. An absolute masterpiece. I miss old Blizzard so much.
Heroes of Might and Magic V turned 20 years old this May. To this day it still features one of the best main menus ever created.

Meanwhile at Sony
Sony is reportedly getting back most of an estimated $508 million in U.S. tariff refunds after the tariffs that contributed to PS5 price increases were later ruled unlawful.
According to Sony CFO Lin Tao, most of the refund is going to the PlayStation business, with around 70% already received between April and June 2026.
Even so, Sony has not announced any plans to refund customers who paid the higher PS5 prices. The company is also facing a proposed class-action lawsuit in the U.S. claiming that some of the recovered money should be passed on to consumers.

Singularity (2010) is one of the most underrated and overlooked games ever. You play as a pilot trapped on an abandoned Soviet island with a device that lets you travel back in time before the reason the island became abandoned in the first place. Give it a try if you haven't yet.
Alpha Protocol from Obsidian, you almost couldn’t believe this game came from the "same" studio as Avowed. It has many flaws, but at the same time it’s the best choices matter spy game ever made.
The Hyperion Cantina from StarCraft 2 has to be one of the most atmospheric hubs in gaming. It's really bittersweet to remember how much soul Blizzard games used to have.
