This is my last day in Alberta. I have had a wonderful week.
Thank you to Albertans for your hospitality.
The People's Party supports you in your quest for greater autonomy; Go option two!

Danielle Smith fights back tears explaining why some Albertans want out of Canada.
“Does this country actually want us?”
She wants Alberta to stay. But listen to the frustration behind that question. How long can Ottawa take Alberta for granted and expect loyalty in return?

In Canada if you work really hard. Grind everyday to provide a better life for yourself. The government will take half.
If you don't work quite as hard the government will take slightly less.
And if you don't work at all the government will give you the hard workers money.

Just a reminder that today, Alberta will send $54,794,520.55 to Ottawa and not receive anything for it. Tomorrow, and every day after that, another $54,794,520.55 will be sent.
Vote Option 2 on October 19th to start the process of ending this.
$20 billion more. Every year.
That's what Alberta sends Ottawa beyond what it gets back.
Option 1 keeps that flowing. Option 2 puts it on the table.

So when Biden cancelled Keystone XL his first day in office, was this an attack on Canadas prosperity?
Or Nah, who gives a shit, it’s Alberta.
Honest question.

Keith is being too kind...
Folks, we need out.
Alberta spent $1.5B of our money with TC Energy and a $6B loan... none of it Canada's. We built our side of Keystone XL as a project in Alberta's best interest.
Joe Biden killed it and Canada could have cared less. We didn't object. We didn't put pressure. Our elbows did not go up.
Meanwhile, Albertans were furious. Even more angered when told to stop caring about it.
Fastforward to today... America is angered by Canada's actions, and guess who the first offering is... the Albertan built Keystone XL.
That's how they're dodging tariffs and saving their butts- not caring ONE IOTA about us when it matters and instantly offering us up when it doesn't.
What if we don't want this deal? What if it's not fair? What if we want to be repaid for the risk we assumed before we proceed?
Nothing.
Because we don't matter.
This will be marketed as a project to help Alberta... but it's really just a bargaining chip that has been cashed in.
Oct 19, show them that you matter.

Alberta produces the wealth.
Ottawa extracts $20 billion from our economy every year.
That is more than $4,000 per Albertan, taken out of our communities and spent elsewhere.
End the extraction.
