Featuring Austin's iconic Barton Springs imagery and some cool tunes (and some goofy white guy in a gimme cap), here's a short video about preserving old Austin so what new Austin can enjoy it.
And then help Amplify Barton Springs at amplifyatx.org/organizations…
The next Barton Springs volunteer day is Aug. 1 (9am-noon). Please park uphill from the Bathhouse (green areas in left map), and look for the registration table by the new north "POOL ENTRANCE" to Barton Springs Pool to the west end of the bathhouse (right map). Join us!
Please Amplify Barton Springs Conservancy today. We couldn't find a "pretty boy" to for this "spotlight" video, but this fella made our pitch that we're working to preserve Barton Springs as part of OLD Austin so that NEW Austin can enjoy it.

INDEED, we had a GREAT day at the Springs with a crew of about 15 volunteers from Indeed, the Austin-based job listing website company. Thanks to all for being Friends of Barton Springs Pool!!!!!
ALT A "BEFORE" picture of the INDEED crew being Friends of Barton Springs Pool with the shallow end broom brigade shoveling all the goo and muck!
ALT An "AFTER" picture of the shallow after the INDEED crew cleared out the goo and muck! THANKS!!!!
The day started with a lusty serenade from one of the swimmers from the south side who greeted us with the song, "Friends of Barton Springs Pool is ...* a Friend of Barton Springs Pool!!!!"
