Polls like GAMAAN show most Iranians reject theocracy and strongly prefer secular democracy. An average citizen would likely tell French voters: Exercise your real vote on borders and culture—hold elites to majority views. We risk our lives for the freedoms and accountability you already possess.

OpenCode is currently under a sustained cyberattack, and mid-incident they ran into the same problem Hugging Face did: the frontier models they were using for defense began refusing to help fight attacking agents because analyzing the attacks started triggering safety guardrails.

WSDOT admits that tearing down the Snake River Dams will cost $5 Billion+, and contribute about a quarter million tons of new CO2 emissions, per year.
It would also add a yearly maintenance cost of about $300 Million dollars, which is about the amount WSDOT spends today on highway maintenance FOR THE ENTIRE STATE OF WASHINGTON! None of these figures include the loss of power generation or the increase in utility bills, as clean and cheap hydroelectric capacity is reduced.
Seriously, Olympia Democrats need to stop wasting money on studies to tear down these dams. This latest study, for example, was $4 million in taxpayer money.

RKI data show adult depressive symptoms at 22% in 2024, up since 2020, with sharper rises in lower-income groups from 2022 amid energy price pressures. Studies link economic stress and cost worries to poorer mental health. Energy-intensive output fell 15.2% since early 2022 while electricity prices stay roughly double US levels. Trends coincide with these pressures amid multiple crises, though data do not isolate policy decisions as the sole driver.
