According to Reuters, the Trump administration is drafting rules that would ban the import of new Chinese optical transceiver models used in U.S. data centers. The effort is reportedly being led by the FCC and is based on national security concerns rather than tariffs or trade policy. Officials are concerned that networking hardware used inside AI data centers could potentially be exploited for espionage, malware, or disruption of critical infrastructure.
These companies may face higher procurement costs if they are forced to replace lower-cost Chinese optics with more expensive alternatives. Reuters notes that the proposal could increase data-center networking costs even as it improves supply-chain security:

No click here! No sign-ups! Define your longer term trend. I use the 3 or 5 min and eye the 15min for overall. Then, look for pullbacks or rallies to the 21EMA (on either timeframe) and look for volume strength with the long term trend bias. That's it! That's all!

Answer: Yes you can. Learn how to trade options or simply take a smaller number of shares. Higher priced tickers can have 10, 15+ point ranges often, and consistent daily volume that relate to consistent/controlled trends. Would you rather trade 20 shares of $TSLA that gives you 8 or 10 points or a crap 4 dollar stock moving on no news and you are drinking the Kool Aid pumps then rug pull telling you it's going to $15?
I will still trade the small ones but 99.5% of the time give me the large caps. If I had to choose, I would take consistent volume, more range, more solid news, and most of the time follow the overall market any day of the week.
