In 2023, I campaigned for Peter Obi in Benue, where APC led LP by just 2,096 votes. In 2027, my support is with Atiku Abubakar and ADC. I’m committed to the party and have set a personal target of mobilising 600,000+ votes for Atiku in Benue. Benue has no reason to vote Tinubu

BENUE STATE DESERVES RESULTS, NOT MORE EXCUSES! Benue people have endured enough. The time has come for meaningful results, responsible leadership and real development. I, Rt. Hon. Barr. Herman Iorwase Hembe, am ready to serve and deliver the progress our dear state deserves. Under the current administration of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, many of our people are still waiting for the change they hoped for. Sometimes, we focus so much on comparing the present government with past administrations that we forget to ask a more important question: How is Benue performing compared with other states today, considering the resources available to our government? Benue deserves more than promises and announcements. With the resources available to our state, our people should be seeing meaningful improvements in security, infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture and employment opportunities. We must raise our expectations and demand measurable results. Our farmers should prosper, our young people should have opportunities to succeed, our civil servants should receive their salaries promptly, and every community should feel the impact of good governance. If elected Governor of Benue State in 2027, I will be guided by the principle in Philippians 2:3, which teaches us to act with humility and consider others above ourselves. For me, leadership is not about personal glory or the privileges of public office. It is about service, sacrifice, accountability and putting the needs of the people first. I believe Benue has the potential to become one of Nigeria's leading states. What we need is purposeful leadership, proper planning and the determination to turn our potential into visible development. Benue people deserve a government that works, a state that progresses and a future filled with hope. Together, let us rescue, restore and rebuild our dear state. Benue State must be great again! — Rt. Hon. Barr. The 2025 Appropriation act has a defense budget of Three Trillion One Hundred Billion Naira (N3.1Tr.). This is for the Armed Forces who are struggling without proper equipment to fulfil the primary purpose of government, which is the protection of lives and property. That same budget has a provision of Eleven Trillion, Two Hundred Billion Naira (11.2 trillion) allocated to the NNPC for a Pipeline Security Contract which has allegedly been awarded to a Niger Delta Militant. This is the greatest abdication of duty by any government in Nigeria's history. Vote Atiku Abubakar/Rotimi Amaechi and let us change this narrative. @atiku @ChibuikeAmaechi ADC

Here is what the Benue ADC Gubernatorial candidate, Herman Iorwase Hembe is saying in simple and plain terms. CHAPTER 3 How has Governor Alia utilized the over 1.5 Trillion Naira that has accrued to Benue State and it's local governments? Here is what his government claims; Total capital expenditure: 380 billion Naira. Of which; 1. Roads: N 130 bn 2. Health: N 36 bn 3. Agriculture: N 27 bn 4. Education: N 27 bn 5. Water: N 14 bn 6. Security: N 10 bn 7. Housing: N 7 bm 8. Electricity: N 2 bn. Where are these capital projects located? According to the Alia Government; 1. Zone A has N 17 bn projects of which 15 bn are in Vandeikya LGA. (Where are the N 2bn projects located, Gomna) 2. Zone B has N 317 bn projects of which N314 bn are in Makurdi. We look forward to knowing where the N3bn is domiciled. 3. Zone C, has a paltry N 8bn of which he says N4bn is in Otukpo. Where exactly? Your guess is as good as mine. So too the other N 4bn. Apparently, these few Makurdi streets that he is frantically working on are worth N 317 billion. Not to mention the never ending, world famous underpass. Then again, if these expenditure is from the state coffers, where are the billions that have accrued to the local governments? Why is there nothing to show in 20 of the 23 LGA's of Benue State? Where is all the money? For a former priest (per Cardinal Onaiyekan) who has no wife, no kids, is a healer, doesn't steal, where is all this money? These are answers Benue people must have before they go to cast their vote in January and February 2027. Stay with us. Benue ADC 2027 campaign media team.

Here is what the Benue ADC Gubernatorial candidate, Herman Iorwase Hembe is saying in simple and plain terms. CHAPTER 2 Local government income under the Alia Government as presented by ADC's Gubernatorial candidate, Rt Hon. Herman Iorwase Hembe. Revenue paid from FAAC on a monthly basis between 2023-2025 to the 23 LGA's amounts toN 383 billion Naira . Breakdown by LGA 1. Katsina-Ala= N 18 bn 2. Konshisha = N 18 bn 3. Kwande = N 19.5 bn 4. Logo = N 16 bn 5. Ukum = N 17.5 bn 6. Ushongo = N 17 bn 7. Vandeikya = N 18 bn 8. Buruku = N 17 bn 9. Gboko = N 22 bn 10. Guma = N 17.5 bn 11. Gwer East = N 17 bn 12. Gwer West = N 15 bn 13. Tarka = N 13 bn 14. Makurdi = N 19 bn 15. Ado = N 17 bn 16. Agatu = N 14 bn 17. Apa = N 14 bn 18. Obi = N 14 bn 19. Ogbadibo = N 15 bn 20. Ohimini = N 13 bn 21. Oju = N 16 bn 22. Okpokwu = N 16 bn 23. Otukpo = N 19 bn Source: FAAC Fed Min. of Finance. Remember that Alia's government, contrary to the lie by the Governor, refused to grant financial autonomy to these local governments so their monies are controlled by Makurdi. As we go next, into discussing what the Alia Government says they did with all these monies, it is also incumbent on you, the Benue resident, to say what impact these billion have had on your local governments or communities. Here is what the Benue ADC Gubernatorial candidate, Herman Iorwase Hembe is saying in simple and plain terms. CHAPTER 1. From June 2023 to June 2026, Benue under Alia has recieved a total of 1.1 Trillion Naira. SOURCES; 1. N 782 bn from FAAC. 2. N 91 bn from IGR 3. N 223 bn from Aides n grants. 4. N 46 m proceeds from sale of government assets etc. 5. N 11bn loan he took (in the face of the huge income) 6. N 5 bn palliatives. [This info is from the Benue state Audited Financial reports 2023-2025 and Benue's budget implementation report 2023 to 2026 second quarter.] How has he spent it? According to his own reporting 1. N 664 bn recurrent spending 2. N 380 bn capital spending 3. N 64 bn unspent funds (unaccounted for) This resource income is unprecedented in the history of Benue State. Never has the state recieved such huge funds. One would expect that Governor Alia's re-election campaign would be a project commissioning fest. Instead, he went about "thanking you" the Benue people 3 years and a half into the term. Next, we will show you some of the income to Local governments in Benue state between 2023-2025. Stay with us. HOW A HEMBE GOVERNMENT CAN RESCUE, RESTORE AND REBUILD BENUE STATE Why Benue Needs Leadership That Turns Promises into Results - Part 2 By Hon. King David Oryiman Mson 3. Creating Jobs and Opportunities for Young People One of the greatest challenges facing Benue is how to give young people a reason to believe in their future. A young graduate should not have to spend years searching for employment without a clear path forward. A young person who wants to learn a trade should not be prevented by poverty from acquiring useful skills. A talented entrepreneur should not have to abandon a business because there is no access to affordable finance. Herman Hembe's government should treat employment as an economic priority, not just a campaign slogan. A practical youth employment programme could include: - Skills acquisition in information technology, graphics design, website development, tailoring, electrical work, construction, agriculture and other marketable trades. -Partnerships with private businesses to provide apprenticeships and workplace training. - Transparent small-business grants and affordable financing for qualified entrepreneurs. - Support for local businesses that employ and train young people. - Digital skills programmes that prepare young people for remote work, technology services and the creative economy. - Public disclosure of beneficiaries, selection criteria and programme results to prevent political patronage. Government should also make it easier for small businesses to operate by improving electricity access, roads, business support services and digital infrastructure. Imagine a young person in Konshisha who learns graphics design, starts a printing business and employs three other people. Imagine a young woman in Vandeikya who processes agricultural produce and supplies customers in Makurdi. Imagine a graduate in Guma who builds a digital service business instead of remaining unemployed. These are the kinds of opportunities a serious government should help create. The goal should not be to make every young person dependent on government employment. It should be to build an economy where people can find work, develop skills, start businesses and earn a decent living. Vote Hembe Vote ADC Nam wegh 🤝

HOW A HEMBE GOVERNMENT CAN RESCUE, RESTORE AND REBUILD BENUE STATE Why Benue Needs Leadership That Turns Promises into Results - Part 1 By Hon. King David Oryiman Mson Benue State is blessed with fertile land, hardworking people, abundant natural resources and a population full of talent and potential. From the yam farmers of Konshisha and Vandeikya to the traders in Makurdi, the business owners in Gboko, the civil servants in Otukpo and the young people struggling to build a future across our 23 local government areas, the people of Benue have every reason to expect a better life. Yet, for many families, daily life has become a struggle. Farmers worry about their safety. Parents worry about school fees. Young graduates search endlessly for jobs. Small business owners battle rising costs, while families affected by insecurity continue to live with the pain of losing their homes, farms and loved ones. The question is no longer whether Benue has the potential to develop. We know it does. The real question is: Who can turn that potential into security, opportunity, prosperity and a better quality of life for ordinary people? As the 2027 governorship election approaches, Rt. Hon. Barr. Herman Iorwase Hembe, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, is presenting himself as an alternative for people who want a government that puts their welfare first. His proposed priorities include security, local government autonomy, transparency, agriculture, healthcare, education, infrastructure and economic development. These are important areas in which his administration would need to deliver measurable results if elected. Here is how a Hembe government could address some of Benue's most pressing challenges. 1. Restoring Peace and Security: No Development Without Safety The first responsibility of any responsible government is to protect human life. For a state known as the Food Basket of the Nation, it is heartbreaking that insecurity has forced many farming families away from their ancestral homes and farmlands. Displacement does not only destroy houses; it destroys livelihoods, interrupts children's education, separates families and weakens the local economy. An assessment by the International Organization for Migration in 2025 documented serious economic hardship among displaced households in Benue, including dependence on humanitarian assistance and difficulties accessing education and livelihoods. Hembe has publicly pledged to make security a priority, protect communities and help restore the rights of people to live on and cultivate their land. A Hembe government should translate that commitment into a practical security programme built around the following actions: - Strengthen coordination among security agencies and ensure that credible intelligence from vulnerable communities reaches the appropriate authorities quickly. - Improve communication, early-warning systems and emergency responses in communities facing recurring attacks. - Support lawful, community-based intelligence gathering while protecting residents from harassment and unlawful retaliation. - Work with federal security agencies and neighbouring states to address the movement of armed groups and other threats. - Strengthen the implementation of applicable laws protecting lives, property and lawful land use. - Develop a transparent plan for the safe return and resettlement of displaced families, including support for rebuilding homes and restoring farms. The objective should be simple: farmers must be able to return to their farms, traders must be able to travel safely, and children must be able to attend school without fear. Nobody should be forced to abandon their ancestral home because government cannot protect them. Hembe's security agenda must be judged by safer communities, fewer attacks, restored livelihoods and displaced families who can finally return home—not merely by speeches or security meetings.

2. Reviving Agriculture: Let Benue Farmers Prosper Again Benue does not lack agricultural potential. What farmers need is an environment in which they can produce, preserve, transport and sell their crops profitably. A farmer who produces ten bags of yam but cannot safely reach the market, access affordable inputs or find a fair price has not received the full benefit of agriculture. A Hembe administration could transform farming from a struggle for survival into a profitable business by prioritising: Affordable farm inputs: Develop transparent programmes that help genuine farmers access improved seedlings, fertilisers, equipment and other essential inputs. Agricultural financing: Work with banks, cooperatives and agricultural development institutions to improve access to affordable credit, especially for smallholder farmers and young people entering agriculture. Farm-to-market roads: Prioritise rural roads connecting farming communities to major markets, processing centres and storage facilities. Storage and processing: Encourage investment in yam, cassava, rice, soybean, sesame, citrus and other crops produced in Benue. Processing and preservation can reduce waste and create jobs beyond the farm. Fairer market access: Connect farmers with buyers, cooperatives, food processors and large-scale purchasers so they have better opportunities to earn reasonable returns. Security for farming communities: Make safe access to farmland a central part of agricultural policy. The benefit would extend beyond farmers. Increased production can create opportunities for transporters, mechanics, market women, food processors, shop owners and young people working in distribution. Benue should not simply be a state where food is produced. It should be a state where those who produce food can afford to feed their own families.

₦33 BILLION SPENT ON HOUSING, SECURITY, WATER AND ELECTRICITY? WHERE ARE THE RESULTS? — HEMBE Governor Hyacinth Alia reportedly says his administration has spent ₦7 billion on housing, ₦10 billion on security, ₦14 billion on water provision and ₦2 billion on electricity. My question is simple: Where are the results of these expenditures? Where are the houses? Where is the improved security our people desperately need? Where is the reliable water supply? And where is the electricity that should bring relief to our homes and businesses? Benue people deserve clear answers. Public funds belong to the people, and every naira spent should translate into tangible benefits that citizens can see and experience. I believe the people of Benue deserve transparency, accountability and a government that can clearly demonstrate what it has achieved with public resources. It is not enough to announce billions spent. The people deserve to see the results. — Rt. Hon. Barr. Yesterday, I attended the inauguration of the Hembe/Abba Gubernatorial Campaign Council, marking a significant milestone in our collective journey towards rescuing Benue State from the hands of those whose leadership has brought hardship and setbacks to our people. At the inauguration, I charged the committee with the responsibility of mobilising our supporters, engaging the electorate, and working diligently to secure victory for our party in the forthcoming elections. I also outlined our proposed alternative to governance, built on people-centred policies that will ensure the dividends of democracy reach every citizen. Our vision is a Benue State where security is guaranteed, education and healthcare are accessible, farmers are supported, local governments enjoy genuine autonomy, and public resources are managed transparently for the benefit of all. The task ahead is clear: to restore public confidence in governance, provide purposeful leadership, and build a state where every citizen has the opportunity to live in peace, dignity, and prosperity. Together, with commitment, unity, and determination, we can work towards a better future for Benue State.

President Tinubu removed the fuel subsidy, and millions of Nigerians have been left struggling with the rising cost of living. Yet, ordinary citizens are constantly told to endure the hardship while many people in positions of power appear to be living comfortably. How long should Nigerians continue to bear the burden? Endurance without meaningful relief is not a solution. Nigerians deserve policies that improve their lives, create opportunities, and make basic necessities affordable. Leadership is not just about asking citizens to sacrifice; it is also about demonstrating empathy, accountability, and a genuine commitment to their welfare. The Nigerian people deserve more than promises to endure. They deserve a better life. Vote ADC

Today, alongside other leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), I engaged with party members and supporters in Zaki Brian, Ukum LGA Benue State as we continued strengthening our party structures and discussing the future of our state ahead of the 2027 general elections. During the engagement, I called on the people of Benue to carefully assess the performance of the APC-led governments at both the federal and state levels, particularly regarding security, electricity, economic hardship and the overall welfare of our people. I believe that leadership must be measured by results. When citizens continue to face insecurity, rising living costs and limited economic opportunities, they have every right to demand accountability and a better approach to governance. I also raised concerns about the persistent security challenges in Benue State and the need for urgent, practical action to protect lives and property. Our communities deserve peace, our farmers deserve the freedom to work their land, and our children deserve to attend school without fear. On development, I questioned the progress of projects across the state and called for greater transparency in the use of public funds. Our people deserve to see the benefits of government at work, whether in roads, infrastructure, salaries, pensions or essential services. If elected Governor of Benue State in 2027, I will make security a priority, work towards the prompt payment of salaries and pensions, and pursue greater financial independence for local governments. I believe local councils should have the resources and responsibility to address the needs of their communities effectively. The engagement also featured contributions from other ADC leaders and candidates. Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Yisa Orker Jev, the ADC leader in Benue State, spoke about the party's role in the political process and urged citizens to make their decisions based on governance and performance rather than religious sentiments. Hon. Bob Tyough, ADC Senatorial Candidate for Benue North-East, emphasised experience, effective representation and the importance of learning and mentorship in public service. Other candidates, including Hon. Jack Mulya, Hon. Jerome Zaye and Hon. Timothy Vihimga, encouraged party members to strengthen grassroots engagement and organise effectively ahead of the elections. Earlier, our State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Samson Okwu, called on residents to participate actively in the political process and engage with the ADC's vision for Benue State. I was accompanied by Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Yisa Orker Jev; Rt. Hon. Samson Okwu; Hon. Bob Tyough; Hon. Jack Mulya; Hon. Tersugh Yachiga; Hon. Chirzendan Peter, State Secretary; Hon. Michael Inyaregh, State Publicity Secretary; Hon. Shaapera Naako; and Hon. Amokaha Adikpo, alongside other party stakeholders. As we move towards 2027, my commitment remains to work for a Benue State where security, accountability, development and the welfare of our people come first. Our people deserve a government that listens, takes responsibility and delivers meaningful results. Together, let us work towards a better future for Benue State. — Rt. Hon. Barr. Today in Ugba, Logo Local Government Area, I also had the opportunity to meet with the Ubokoti Mbaiorov faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC), where I appealed for their support for candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 elections. Our discussion centred on the need for responsible leadership, respect for the rule of law and an end to political impunity. I emphasised that democracy can only thrive when due process is respected and leaders remain accountable to the people they serve. I also encouraged the people of Benue State to take ownership of our collective future. The responsibility of building a better state rests with all of us, and we must be willing to participate actively in the political process and demand the quality of leadership we deserve. Benue belongs to its people, and its future should reflect their hopes, aspirations and collective interests. Regardless of our political differences, we must recognise that our shared desire for peace, security, development and prosperity is greater than any party affiliation. I believe that through unity, meaningful engagement and a commitment to good governance, we can build a Benue State that works for everyone. Together, let us put the people first and work towards a better future for Benue State. — Rt. Hon. Barr.
