Well, here we go. End of Humanities at an institution that championed Humanities even when it was a 1950s Tech College. CP Snow was a fan & wrote in his famous "Two Cultures" (1959) that "the intellectual life of the whole of western society" rested on Science & Humanities.

I’m hearing that Andy Burnham has purchased a meal deal at WH Smith in Euston station. Beth, Sam and Sophy are en route to ask the checkout assistant what flavour crisps he chose.
Meanwhile Nigel Farage trousered a £5m bung and didn’t declare it.
Back to the crisps story.

Sources are saying their understanding is that food safety will go to agri - ie under the new Agriculture and Food Commissioner, @CHansenEU
If true, this means the gene editing (NGTs, new GMOs, etc.) file would switch hands from DG SANTE to DG AGRI
The question is: we have agriculture with food, and health with animal welfare... but where will food safety land in the Commissioner's portfolios, with @CHansenEU or @OliverVarhelyi?
