Chris is an ex colleague of mine who has evidence of the most horrific cover ups and corruption during his time at the IOPC @policeconduct which he tried to have addressed, without success. He speaks here to @Channel4News This also reflects what I saw when 5 Senior officers from @gmpolice were referred to them for what I consider gross criminal neglect when they closed down Operation Augusta knowing full well that dozens (if not hundreds) of children in “care” were being raped by at least 97 identified abusers in a very sophisticated “grooming gang”. And guess what….. these Senior officers wouldn’t even be interviewed! And the @policeconduct have NO POWERS to compel them, so those same Senior Police officers have ALL walked away Scott free!! Another national body that is powerless (or instructed not to?) hold senior public servants legally to account.
