How could *this* finding possibly be positive? It reveals how systemic discrimination against caregivers is. It's proof that too many workplaces fail to accommodate caregiving responsibilities - among women & men. smh.com.au/national/fathers-… via @leahruppanner @circlein_co

It makes me sick to say but we should go ahead and talk about it -- I will be shocked if medication abortion or miscarriage treatment that uses mifepristone is still allowed in the U.S. by the end of February. Anti-abortion orgs have carefully set this up to ensure a win.

Because Florida passed a law making it illegal for kids to learn about systemic racism, intersectionality & queer people in their public schools, @CollegeBoard is going to change their AP African American Studies course for the entire country?Y’all see where this is going, right? – at Manhattan, NY

listening to the march for life speaker canonize a woman who "heroically" died after giving birth to her fourth child. the crowd is cheering and applauding for the "selflessness of her decision." cheering for a dead woman really summing up the pro-life stance 👀👀👀

The Republicans are talking about this openly now because Gen Z handed them their asses in the midterms. Restricting voting rights is the only way they can win.
Who here thinks voting age should be 21 instead of 18?

Just a reminder that most Americans still really do not understand what Martin Luther King actually did, or even how peaceful protest works generally.

And that, said Jeffrey on Twitter that day Is the stupidest thing I've heard anyone say. Should teachers need parents to give their consent Before any second of class time is spent On answering students with questions on race? My God. How'd we ever wind up in this place?

People find the sentence "my artificial neural network is sentient" vastly more plausible than the sentence "my matrix multiplication algorithm is sentient" even though they are roughly the same claim. This implies to me that "neural network" is bad terminology.

An underrated way to attract great engineers to your company (drumroll) Have a great engineering blog. This means ENGINEERS write the blog, not content writers. And they give the "real deal" about challenges, learnings, failures. So few companies do this. A few that do:

Rewrites never go as planned. Xamarin.Forms turning into Maui was supposed to be a quick change, fueled by hopium so strong it defied gravity. Instead, at best, it set it back 2-3 years.
