The performance score change in ranked is nice.
It shifts the focus away from kills and puts winning first.
Definitely the right direction and a lot of the people I see crying about it should ask themselves what they re actually playing for.
Theres a good reason platforms like FACEIT dont use performance multipliers. In my opinion the best solution would be to drop all bonuses entirely.
Still this is a better approach than before.

Saudi money is drying up and let me tell you, the current esports landscape is NOT ready for that.
The level of the top teams in T2 has been at a similar level for 2-3 years now - its just the first time we’re actually letting them compete properly against each other.
For most people who are active in that scene, this is not really that big of a surprise either.
When I look back at teams like Apeks / Acend in 2023 that didnt manage to get promoted back then - with players like Keiko, Magnum, Monsterr, Musashi - Im pretty sure those teams still could have kept up well with the bottom Tier1 teams of that era.
Typical esports talent thing a bit of success and suddenly they think they know everything.
Genuinely glad hes recovered, looked really bad for a while.
But playing Sova for a few years isnt a medical degree, and researching your own illness doesnt make you an expert on others

I usually don’t tweet about these type of things often, but I’ve been seeing it a lot particularly in Valorant and in the last couple years.
It does not matter how popular, hard working, or talented someone is, there will always be consequences. I don’t know when this idea got lost for so many people over the last couple years, but it was a very well-known thing when I started esports 10 years ago.
Your image as a person is EVERYTHING nowadays, and its astonishing that orgs/peers don’t try to help or train for it especially with the increased use of social media and the influence it has our on life and work.
Basically, don’t be stupid online OR in person, its not that hard 👍
Riots betting sponsorship policy was built around a clear T1/T2 split.
Only "Tier 1" VCT teams in Americas and EMEA could partner with betting brands.
But the new VCT 2027 structure removes tiers entirely. One competition level, open quals feeding into Cups, Masters, Champions. Partner teams still exist but compete alongside everyone else.
So when that tier distinction disappears… who gets access to betting sponsors? Just partners? Any team that qualifies for a Cup? This needs clarifying before 2027 kicks off.
I remember that almost the entire Shopify Rebellion team sided against her in that whole situation, and now the matter is just off the table?
Makes sense
Support agents are a cool idea, but we really need to stop using ACS/Kills for RR performance bonuses and just base it on the win/loss.
Maybe then people would actually play for the team and try to support, instead of just ego-peeking everything for their own stats
Challengers 2026: EMEA Stage 1
quick prediction nobody asked for (assuming 4 teams advance like in Ascension / shit format btw)
Groups 1 and 2 are incredibly close, so it's really anyone's game.
MISA and SGE are probably neck-and-neck. (objectively I think MISA is probably a bit stronger - but gotta give it to SGE for DACH)
As for TLA, they're generally stronger than some of the teams in Group 3 or 4, but unfortunately, I just dont think they have what it takes to survive this particular group right now.
I could definitely see a scenario where Barca/Fokus finishs ahead of EP, but well have to wait and see.
Group 3 - even though I think Stallions and UCAM have what it takes to advance, Joblife is prolly still the strongest on paper.
Group 4 is unfortunately the most clear for me.. I just dont see S2G finishing ahead of Mandatory
Looking at my track record with predictions, the exact opposite teams will advance... so dont worry :d
