there is a certain personality type which will play Civilization or Factorio 14 hours a day pausing only to sleep and microwave food. this type can be absurdly economically productive if you can take the games away, give him a job, and get him to think of it as a videogame

We have a huge pivot underway here at Epic, moving developers around to retool for maximum AI acceleration. The aim isn't to do the same stuff with fewer people, but to enable everyone here to build MORE and BETTER stuff, and to bring the benefits to all teams using Unreal.
