I made an entry into $COAL. This is a memecoin, but it's held its trend well and has not yet printed a lower swing low in its history. There might be terrifying potential here.
$CLOUD made a comeback, along with the rest of the market, and closed above its last ATH. I made another entry, SL and break-even at 34%.
TA-wise, it was dumping quite hard pre-election result, but now that's it's comeback, the overall trend is still intact. It's confirmed its post-launch high price zone as a level of support. These are the ingredients of a continuation.
Let's see what happens.
$SOL broke out, so I made another entry, SL/Break-even at around 18%.
Apparently $SOL isn't quite ready to blast off just yet. My trade was stopped out as price closed under the swing-low. I'll keep watching for another entry opportunity
I made an entry into $GIGA as it's got a nice trend and price just broke the ATH. Break-even and SL set at 25%.
$SOL bounced back from the Tether news last week and closed above the most recent swing-high. I made and entry, but seeing as the swing protecting my SL is pretty small (7.6%) and that I have two unresolved entries in BTC and META, I reduced my size. TA-wise, the chart is in a good place: it's closing in on 200, it's broken the swing-highs around 160. But a more significant pullback may be likely before challenging the bull market high.
Since some of my positions are scaling to include multiple entries (i.e., multi-trade positions), I've made a tracking template to make it easier for me to manage everything. This is particularly useful for organizing my incremental TPs under different entries. The attached is filled in with sample entries, one closed and the other ongoing. I like to limit my tracking to the bare minimum amount of data needed. This is a page for a single position -- I'll need to make a master page to summarize all of my positions.
Just came back from a trip. There were a number of developments in my trades (some break-even, some losses), but I can't remember specifically, so I'll just post visuals on the current state of all of them: $BTC, $CLOUD, $META (crypto), and $KMNO. The latter three are young tokens, so as I said before: even if the most recent entry fails, I'll keep holding all the previous entries, but I do take small profits along the way as price goes down.
$BTC closed above its last swing-high yesterday around 65,600. I missed that close so I got in today and luckily got a bit of a discount as price had gone down slightly. Break-even TP is 8% at 70,535. It's been very stable ever since making its last ATH, so I think it's in a good position to break out again, the last ATH acting as resistance turned support.
Update on my $META (crypto) entry. Price broke out some more and hit my break-even TP, so the position is now risk-free. I will hold for the foreseeable future to see where the trend goes. If it goes down from here I won't TP anymore, I'll just hold and end it if it hits my SL (a close below the swing-low at 2,164). On the other hand, if it first goes up from here and then begins to head down rapidly, I'll take profit incrementally with each new red day, but keep the majority of the trade running unless it hits my SL.
Why not fully take profit now? My logic is if the trade isn't going to make me multiple Xs, then it might as well end. The benefit of taking profit now versus the profit I could get from holding - for this young of a token - is negligible.
