when i realized you shouldn’t be at anyone’s mercy was in uni when the guy that used to pick us to the club and drop us off suddenly refused to take us home one day bc we didn’t follow his friends to their hotel knowing fully well the club was in another city and there was no uber and we were severely under dressed aka almost naked and shouldn’t be taking public transport. we had to wait til daybreak and chatter keke to take us to the main road then find our way back to our hood. the walk of shame was incredible
