Dallas Mavericks coach Jason Kidd on the missed goaltending call:
“They didn’t see it. That’s the explanation. They didn’t see it…They didn’t do their job tonight…The league wants to get it right, the referees have a tough job, they clearly did not get that one right. It cost us the game…Hopefully the referees can be better in close games…No one saw the goal tend but everybody was there.”
So over this league. Feels like I’ve been talking myself into staying in an abusive relationship for years now by continuing to watch.

This viral tweet and accompanying video is a textbook example of how racists distort and manipulate media to incite pile-ons.
Their target seems to be a lovely young woman but she isn't white and that's all the excuse these racists need.
Here's the truth behind the video: /1

I asked MAGA
“How much do you think undocumented immigrants pay in taxes?”
They all answered ZERO.
I explained that in 2022 undocumented immigrants paid $95 billion into Social Security and Medicare even though they don’t qualify for either.

If you were going to choose a metaphor for the 2024 Republican Party, a garbage truck chauffeuring around a billionaire traveling around in circles and going nowhere, all for a photo op, is pretty spot on.

This is the single best thing I've read about our politcal economics & how voters are consistently wrong about a subject they've never studied.
