Ensuring accountability in law enforcement is essential. HB24-1460 addresses crucial measures to strengthen responses to misconduct. I am proud to be on this bill with @leslieherod!

Through all of my work on law enforcement accountability, some of the most surprising — and most egregious — is the harm done to law enforcement BY their fellow officers. We need whistleblower protections for officers who break ranks and shine light on the truth.

Joe O’Dea saying he doesn’t “see color” is harmful. It’s just a convenient excuse to ignore the bigotry of who he campaigns with and supports. He campaigned with Tom Cotton who called slavery a "necessary evil" & he praises DeSantis for using asylum seekers. #cosen #copolitics
