Ten million people have watched a comedian accidentally destroy the entire TED talk industry.
He filmed the talk once at TEDxNewYork in 2014 and openly admitted he had nothing to say.
Speaking coaches charge $5,000 to teach the exact tricks he used in 6 minutes to say nothing at all.
His name is Will Stephen. He is a comedian from Late Night with Seth Meyers who was invited to give a real TED talk and used it to prove the format is a costume anyone can wear.
Every TED speaker opens with a question, tells a personal story, cites a scientist, and shows a chart. Stephen did all four in six minutes with zero content.
His entire formula fits on a napkin.
Gesture with both hands. Ask the audience a question anyone can answer. Tell a mildly embarrassing story so they say aww. Point to a stranger on a slide and call them important. Flash a chart of random numbers. Wear glasses with no lenses. The audience will think you are brilliant.
That last trick alone has probably cost the public speaking coaching industry a hundred million dollars in sessions clients should have skipped.

That is Will Stephen on the TED stage, three minutes into the talk he was paid to give. He wasn't lying.
Executives pay $15,000 for a keynote coach and still open with a joke the room never laughs at. Founders rehearse their pitch for weeks and still sound like Stephen at minute four, saying "wagga wah, gabba gabba" with authority.
The talk is free on YouTube. The method is written across every TED speaker's playbook for ten years.
Stephen still writes for Seth Meyers. Almost none of the ten million viewers have stopped nodding at empty slides since.
The formula is free. The willingness to actually say something before your next keynote, pitch, or townhall is the entire edge.

If you still believe that Russia started this conflict in 2022, then you are either corrupt, ignorant, or brainwashed.
If you don’t know who Victoria Nuland is, or what she was doing in Ukraine in 2014, then you have no idea what’s going on.
The Deep State started this war. It was the Obama CIA/State Dept that funded Nazi militant groups to start a civil war in Ukraine, and initiated regime change to a CIA/State Dept puppet, Yatseniuk.
This was all revealed in the leaked phone call between State Dept diplomats and Deep State agents, Victoria Nuland and Geoffrey Pyatt (link in next post).
After the Maidan coup in February 2014, the US CIA/State Dept owned Ukraine via proxy, and the CIA began using Ukraine as a giant offshore playground for criminal racketeering and money laundering. Ukraine became one giant CIA base, directly on Russia’s border.
Then the US/NATO began building up Ukraine’s army for the sole purpose of one day fighting Russia. The US/NATO began supplying Ukraine with weapons, equipment, missiles, training, intelligence, etc.
Covert elements within the US government, along with their European partners in NATO, used espionage to overthrow and take control of the nation of Ukraine, then built a massive standing army on Russia’s border, then tried to bring Ukraine into NATO, and thus start WW3.
If you are still buying the official MSM narrative about this conflict, you should not be engaged in conversations.
Everything the MSM told you about Ukraine/Russia has been a lie, and in many cases, the inverse of the truth.

The FCC voted 3-0 today to propose opening 482 MHz more spectrum to satellite-to-phone service like Starlink Mobile, despite AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile pushing to cut it down.
The vote
• Passed 3-0, with Chairman Carr and Commissioners Gomez and Trusty all voting yes
• The proposal would raise the number of bands eligible for satellite-to-phone service from 5 to 13
• Satellite operators would no longer have to lease spectrum from carriers. They could certify coexistence agreements, or hold the license themselves
The fight
• The carriers and their trade group CTIA wanted the 2.5 GHz and 3.45 GHz bands removed. Both stayed in, and so did the full 482 MHz
• T-Mobile says satellite interference could cut uplink speeds by 88% to 99%
• SpaceX asked the FCC to add the 902–928 MHz band too
What happens next
• Today's vote opens a public comment period. Final rules need another vote later
• Holding the license directly suits SpaceX, which already bought spectrum from EchoStar for about $17 billion, plus a $2.6 billion follow-on deal

More money, more time and flying less will not make spaceflight safer or make us more effective at achieving our objectives.
