Randal Grichuk was just informed he was traded to the Royals in the middle of the game.
Teammates came over to wish him farewell.
Such is life for the #Dbacks as sellers at the deadline.

#OTD 28 years ago, Todd Greene belted his 40th HR of the season for the triple-A Vancouver Canadians in the Canadians' 14-5 win over Salt Lake City.
Greene became the first minor leaguer to belt 40 HRs in a season since Danny Tartabull did it for triple-A Calgary in 1985.

I’m not an #Arod fan but he’s absolutely right here. The hit the ball in the air #gurus are teaching a LA swing that few players can be successful with. It’s only going to get worse. #shegone @Yankees @notgaetti @BobFile @billdubs @TheRealJHair @Gregg_Jefferies @AMBS_Kernan

Just crushed to hear about the death of longtime @Twins scout Mike Radcliff. If there was a more respected or more liked scout in the game, I don't know who it was. Not sure how many hours I spent talking & learning with Mike, but they were many & I enjoyed them all. RIP, Mike.

Sad day in baseball. We lost a legend in scouting, a plus human being and a man who represented the Minnesota Twins with class. In fact he was the Twins! We lost a friend to the ECP. Our prayers are with the Radcliff family & the Twins family. RIP Mike Radcliff a true HOF’er.🙏🏼🙏🏼
