Finally it’s Harry/Jenna’s turn to Viennese Waltz. WOW. His lines are EXQUISITE. such a quality dancer. But did they make a mistake at the end? Or just got too much momentum? What was it. Otherwise it’s unfair how great he is. I agree with CAI’s critique tbh. 8s. Has to be! Best dance we saw tonight yet. #dwts

Now is Taylor/Britt-cha Cha. He’s pushing his arms out to length vs. Extending/unfolding them. Verrrrrry pigeon-toed. Aaaand we’re done. Why are all the dances 30s or less?? 5s for technique or 6 if they’re nice. And Derek is echoing my advice lol #dwts

Now we have Guillermo/Witney-paso Doble. Poor G slipped already. But he’s trying his little heart out god bless him. Not technically good but very entertaining. 5 #dwts

This whole judge 3 gets to say 1 word only is SO. DUMB. why have 3 judges if you’re not gonna let them give advice/critiques to the contestants?! #dwts

Finally we have Amber/Pasha-tango (so many tangos tonight; why?!) interested in whether she’s learned to point her feet outside the rink and inside the ballroom. Nope still dead fish. But she’s COMING FOR EVERYONE with this fierceness!! 7 or maybe our first 8? #dwts

After that we have Tatyana/Jan-foxtrot. I think she’ll do better with a ballroom than a Latin number. She’s still cutting her movements short & it’s causing us to think she’s rushing the steps when if she really sank into & extended each line in time w the music she’d be fine. Not enough technical improvement. 5 #dwts

Next we have Ezra/Dani-cha cha. This is so fun bc we have demo who’s a PWERHOUSE & Ezra who matches that fierce energy!! Love them together. He’s so invested. This was pretty good considering he could only do a basic step on one side!!! So impressive. 7 for sure #dwts

Next is Connor/Riley-tango. Wow a lot of tangos tonight. Do they want the public comparing on purpose like this?he’s learning to take up more space. Frame is better. And he’s taking it appropriately seriously. This is my fav tango of the night! Well done yall. 6 bc a 7 now is = a 10 down the line. #dwts

Now Giada/Alan-salsa. Oh boy I’m worried ngl. Yep - first lift and she’s already giving us dead fish legs. Stretch & point, girl!!! Alan is doing allllll the heavy lifting on this one. Kind of hard to watch. I’ve never seen a salsa move less. 4. 5 if they’re being nice. #dwts

Next we have Jackson/Emma-foxtrot. Nice port des bras from him! Lines! He’s surprisingly good at the ballroom dances. Very dapper and in control. His frame was decent & I saw all the (proper) footwork. Happy to see this from him this week - will need more help for other Latin dances but that’s another week. 6 or 7. #dwts

Next up is Julia/Ezra-tango. They were FAB week 1 so I can’t wait! She’s serving FACE from the get go. Needs to pick up her elbows. Frame keeps dropping. A couple mistakes. But more glidey than Tyler’s. Pretty little “lift” there at the end. Didn’t like it as much as last week but not bad. 6 or 7. #dwts

Next is Tyler/Sharna-salsa. Points for trying but this is messy & fully relying on Tyler’s ability to throw Sharna like a rag doll with his shirt off. Didn’t see much salsa content. 5. #dwts

2nd to go: Ciara/Brandon-tango. She looks incredible!!!! Bit jumpy skippy at the start. Brandon really having to crank her around that ballroom lmao. Tangos supposed to glide & that wasn’t as smooth as it should’ve been. But I see so much improvement from week 1! 6. #dwts

Packing a show so full of ads that the 3rd judge gets a ONE word critique makes me so….#dwts

First: Val/Jenna - jive. They sis great - loved her foot action & leg retraction. There was almost TOO much restraint from her & there’s a fine line between being low energy & being in control of her body. Val looked comfortable. Didn’t blow me away like I’m waiting for them to. But Well done! 7s #dwts

Derek’s performance was incredible I can’t lie. Unlike his sister last night - that could’ve & should’ve been an email. Great job Hayley too! I’ve loved her since SYTYCD. And all the backup dancers were like top in their field talented. My goodness. Just nice to watch incredible dancing without worrying so you can just get into the experience that’s being shared by you and the dancers #dwts
