a lot of stuff about the internet becomes much clearer when you realize people can't read entire bodies of text or understand what they mean
On top of people not knowing how to read at all in this country, there are also people who are functionally illiterate. Meaning, their reading skills are so poor that basic comprehension of what they are reading (or attempting to read) is a serious problem.

this is like being mad that your fish isn't cooperating with playing fetch and walking on a leash. like maybe just let the lil guy swim around on his own so he can breathe, yeah?
I dislike introverts who need to be told everything multiple times when in a group setting. You have to keep offering them food, try hard to engage them and check on them to ensure they are ok. They will just sit quietly in a corner and you will never know if they are ok or not, or if they are upset or need care. I hate doing that labour for them. Like dude you can talk, you are normal! You are an adult, not a child. Please emote, talk and let others know what you want or don't want. Be a part of what's going on and don't kill the vibe by just disconnecting with who's around you. Sincerely, an extrovert who always puts that effort.

my grandma worked for this company for decades with horribly bad knees and back, and when she was less than a year from qualifying for retirement pension, they fired her, saying she had been caught pilfering from the drawer
Employee Gayle is going viral for being honored with just flowers at her retirement after working 44 years at Walmart.

growing up w/ pcos is great bc you hit puberty & it's like "sorry ur going to be slowly transitioned against your will during vulnerable yrs bc nature said screw you. enjoy male pattern baldness, beard, beer gut, acne, & infertility. also it wrecks ur organs" and you're like 11.

a lot of the ppl making fem!malfoy content need more info about malfoy: -insanely wealthy aristocrat w/ a manor -trained since birth to socially climb -witty & mean. gets MEANER when embarrassed & not in a cute way -not shy at ALL, more overly-confident until 6th year ...

-straightforward w/ intent. uses manipulation/ploys 4 sympathy instead to accomplish goals(would fake a hurt ankle to get attention from love interest) -uneducated. malfoy always has high scores -going to admit to inability. would pretend to not want to do activity if unable ...

-green eyed. MALFOY HAS GREY EYES -golden blonde. MALFOY HAS WHITE-BLONDE/PLATINUM HAIR instead of writing malfoy as a shy cutesy blushing girl who sometimes does playful banter, write as near-nobility bully who feels superior & has SO MUCH pride

i wasnt an adult yet but had just turned 16 and entered the workforce. i noticed something was off when people started getting fired and instead of hiring more people to replace them, their tasks/roles were put on me (the 16 year old at first job). was working overtime bc of it
For those who were adults during the 2008 financial crisis, what was your holy crap, the economy is actually crashing moment?

not malfoys mo. the formula for their interactions tends to be: Malfoy: appears frm nowhere. makes cutting remark/mean joke Potter: mad. ignores/says something back Malfoy: stops laughing w/ friends. gets mad. belittles. threats. possible father mention Harry: declaration of war

if malfoy actually wanted to go but wanted to preserve ego, this scene would be a HARSH rejection, then malfoy wld approach later w/ other pl 4 backup "Potter you're going to the ball with me. I expect youre capable of fixing that mess on your head for one night? Well we'll see."

malfoy in this scene would be much more likely to insult harry's appearance/lack of family/blood status than to get all cutesy and kick feet.

stop making Malfoy a shy stuttering mess. when Malfoy gets embarrassed it's a HUGE hit to the ego, & triggers RAGE and VENOM and PETTINESS

i'm a millennial and old enough to remember my grandma's old rural mailing address from back when they used route and box numbers
Millennials will never understand
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Millennials attended school when overhead projectors like this were standard in most classrooms, with over 95% of US classrooms equipped by 1985 and continued widespread use into the 2000s. teachempowered.org/the-overhead-p… edtechmagazine.com/k12/article/20… ed.buffalo.edu/magazine/issue… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overhead_…

unpopular opinion but as an artist if you have a wait list longer than 6 months for digital/drawn/painted art, stop taking more commissions stretch this out to 1 year for most tactile art, unless its something insane like a giant sculpture or a house-sized crochet dragon

and then the baby pukes up her nose/eyes/mouth & she has to spend three hours doing the bedding laundry/showing it out of her hair while the baby screams incessantly for being put down & gas probably you can't fool me i did this baby thing already
Be honest… is there something better than this, or are we just romanticizing motherhood? 👀

im actually upset that all the work we did to divorce colors/hobbies/makeup/clothes from gender has just circled back around to "im wearing pink and mascara so obvs im a girl rn duh" this is such a hard backslide clothes/makeup/hobbies/interests/hair dont. make. your. gender.

its a lot easier to be bilingual when its required/funded by government from early in your development instead of ntroduced as elective for 1-2 years in high school im learning a language as an adult & it was a lot easier to just pick up on Spanish spoken around me as a child
Why is the stereotype that Americans can’t speak multiple languages? Ik like 10 ppl irl that r bilingual
