Has anyone else received something similar from anonymous in the mail? I was just as surprised to learn that I had a mailbox at USYD 😅) it’s a collection of quotes and articles about the climate crisis, some from indigenous sources, and a shell from Flinders Beach

@babetdegroot was one of the #FutureLeaderFellows who joined us in Canberra for two weeks last year. Babet recently attended the @UNEP Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on Plastic Pollution. Here is her summary of the meeting: take3.org/ambitious-goals-an… @Take3fortheSea

Absolutely fascinating research by @babetdegroot on “Regime Complexes for Global Plastic Governance” at #AusPSA23 and her frankly massive (& massively impressive) network analysis and original data set. Excited to see her future work on the Global Plastics Treaty Negotiations 👏🏻

Fantastic to catch up with @PHEHothouse Fellows @babetdegroot @healthy_climate @edjegasothy at the #cdoh conference #usyd
Name something SCARIER - this year for Halloween, my laptop crashed with all my work from several intensive PhD writing days and a few other projects I neglected to back-up ahead of four big deadlines next week 👻🎃💀
Asking #AcademicTwitter for advice on a public holiday (this thesis isn’t going to write itself) - does the reference list go at the end of each chapter or at the end of the dissertation?
After two rather intense but enlightening weeks at @ANURegNet @PHEHothouse Future Leaders Program, I am back to writing my PhD discussion chapter with fresh insight! Any discussion-writing tips welcome!

One tiny table.
Many huge brains.
This is the last lunch for the first cohort of the #FutureLeadersProgram. It's been an incredible fortnight.
Look out, world. These are the ones to watch.
Delighted to be a part of the inaugural @PHEHothouse Future Leaders Forum, an incredible opportunity to focus on justice at the intersection of human health and environmental degradation with an inspiring interdisciplinary group of up-and-coming scholars!
Marking a landmark policy symposium, with a collective focus on planetary health equity croakey.org/marking-a-landma… #publichealth
We cannot wait for a global treaty to end plastic pollution - given the difficulty of balancing competing interests, action at home that anticipates this instrument is essential to alleviating the plastics crisis with the necessary urgency. We have yet to see Aus firmly commit.

Our team from @SINTEF @NIVAforskning @lunduniversity and @Sydney_Uni at #INC2 in Paris - developing a database of narratives from the #plastictreaty negotiations spanning all session - mapping the road to the treaty!
Check out what I think about efforts towards international cooperation on plastic waste, published in @ausoutlook #IWD2023 series: internationalaffairs.org.au/… #PlasticsTreaty
In all seriousness, I need a reference for this quote 😂 #PhDChat #Philosophy
I’m observing the #PlasticINC for a global treaty to #BeatPlasticPollution!
