Ome thing about telling lies is that you will have to tell more lies to cover up the previous one!
ichairful is just a scarf 🧣 that anyone can use, it is not remotely close to Gele!
Replying to @4tyfur
In traditional Igbo society, ichafu is mainly for married women. In a few occasions, brides will adorn it. Our kids and young women will normally use aka beads to decorate their hair, or use elaborate hairdo. Make Ichafu Great Again MIGA

So, I said I was going to be back. 🥰
F1: Another pose of my gèlè. 💃🏽
F2: My aunt’s gèlè at my cousin’s naming ceremony. See that cute, full-haired baby? 🥹 That was me at just five or six months old! ❤️
F3: Cultural Day. Omo Ìjẹ̀bú ni mí! 🥰

My Daughter on her one year old birthday with her Gele done by her mum

A woman sent this message to her husband of 20+ years.
"The longer we stay married, the more I realize I cannot trust you with my future. You turn every decision into an opportunity to wield financial control. You are not willing to discuss ideas on the merit of demerit of it - once you can't defend your choices, your final decision maker is 'are you willing to pay for it?' You don't view us as a team where my ideas have value, instead you use the fact that you earn more money to enforce your preferences on us. That is financial abuse."
This particular message was sent after they had a disagreement about whether their current water service provider was meeting their needs. She runs a salon from home and believes they should switch providers to one whose billing system more accurately reflects their needs, he doesn't, because it will cost more.
They currently earn roughly the same amount, and she contributes basically 50% of household bills and expenses including rent, but that was not always the case.
For most of their marriage she was a stay at home wife and mother, and she says this has been the pattern all their marriage - he over rules her, refuses to discuss matters and if she pushes, he ends the discussion by refusing to pay for it if it's something that needs funding or refusing to participate.
Is she overreacting?

Never disturb a toddler in this moment! Don’t help. Don’t suggest. Observe. A capable problem solver is in training and development.
