This morning this FBI and our partners the Dutch National Police are announcing the arrest of one of the alleged leaders of ShinyHunters - a global cybercrime and threat actor group linked to cyberattacks in the United States, the Netherlands, and around the world.
In coordination with FBI investigators the Dutch High-Tech Crime Unit arrested the suspect under Dutch law. As we speak FBI teams are actively working with partners to obtain and execute more leads in the ongoing investigation based on this arrest.

❗️ A San Francisco hackathon rejected a former Israeli intelligence Unit 8200 engineer, telling him it didn't want Israel's military to make participants' pagers, phones and laptops "explode in their faces."
Organiser Mostapha Benhenda pointed to the 2024 pager attacks in Lebanon and later told the former Israeli intelligence member Adam Levi there was "no way to know" he wasn't involved.

BREAKING: Two people have climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, holding a banner from the skyscraper's antenna reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace."
As of now it's unclear how the pair reached the top of the building as police work to get them down from the spire, 1,454 feet above the ground.
