Newcastle United are debt free and have owners worth around £950billion but we can't spend to improve our side yet again in January without selling a player. However, certain clubs in billions of debt will be free to do as they please. Bit fucked up, isn't it?

He's unhappy that they have been unable to fully maximise the backing of their wealthy owners because their revenues still pale in comparison to those sides around them - sound familiar!?
"We have no debt. We are a club that is balanced with committed owners. We don’t owe money to anyone, but clubs with more revenue but huge debts can spend much more than us.
