Why do Tamil directors treat music like an afterthought for sequels? "we wanted a fresh flavor" is just a diplomatic excuse because you couldn't lock the original composer. If you can't get them, prioritize and wait! Music/RR is just as vital as the script. 1/3 #TamilCinema

Irrespective of how good a movie is, the original background score and themes create the soul and audience connection. Changing it completely ruins the franchise vibe: • Singam 1&2 had DSP's mass pulse ➡️S3 got Harris • Saamy was iconic with Harris ➡️Part 2 went to DSP (2/3)

• Sardar 1 had GVP ➡️ Part 2 went to Sam CS • Indian (ARR ➡️ Anirudh) & Chandramukhi (Vidyasagar ➡️ Keeravani) lost their sonic identities. Stop prioritizing only lead actors. Commit to the music director when the story is finalized. Stop compromising! (3/3) #TamilCinema

Man Utd are the ferrari of Premier League. Suddenly they're back on the game beating an opponent, having a wonderful game and then flop like a mid tier team and it repeats every season. You don't know what the team is doing. Same Reds. #PremierLeague

12. We need to get rid of Dube. He has no footwork, struggles badly against yorkers, and mostly scores runs only when the match is already safe or over. When we desperately need him under pressure, he goes missing. Rare good knocks, but highly inconsistent when it matters most.

13. Since winning in 2018, 2021 & 2023, We have lost our way. Powerplay batting is pathetic, death bowling leaks runs, and Chepauk is no longer a fortress. The old formula is dead in this 200+ era. Time to rebuild or keep suffering and say "Yellove" #CSK #WhistlePodu #IPL2026

From a die-hard CSK fan, it hurts seeing our team like this. Sharing my honest opinions so far in this thread 🧵 The 2023 🏆 high was unreal. Emotions were sky high after that win. But I feel we got carried away, leading to some poor selections.

11. Ruturaj’s form was poor. Anchor role is overrated in today’s IPL. Teams average 200 in 2026. Game evolved — you must too. Shift captaincy early. Leadership must be strict, not back wrong players. Akeal dropped too often. Fans are fuming but nothing will change. Let it.

10. Forget Dhoni, don’t count him anymore. Ruturaj’s captaincy was decent but often poor. Why drop Akeal? Why bring Veer? Why not Sarfaraz when runs are needed? We’ve lacked hard-hitting openers, death bowlers and balance for years. Injuries can’t be the excuse. Playoffs felt far

9. Many say Khaleel is good, Kamboj is good. But I don't know what best performance they've given. Most of the time they're like Deepak Chahar sometimes wickets but costly, sometimes economical with no wickets. Kamboj lacks pace. Except Overton, I don't see any lethal pace bowler

8. Stop labeling this as investment. Stop bringing the left-right combination point. Your obsession with that is so old school. Left-arm spinner why not bowl to lefties? Left-arm fast bowler always good against right-handers? Bro, what the hell is this?

7. You can say "what a buy, youngster for 14 cr". But why for two players? If talking investment, scout from grassroots or CSK academy at lower budget. IPL performance should raise market price. This is not long-term cash investment. Every team plays to win.

6. Constant reshuffling in batting. No batter was coming into form. The least positives were Dube, Ayush and Brevis, but it was too late. Some came as replacements. Last season was already lost at the auction table. This season felt the same.

5. Then came 2025 — first season after mega auction. We lined up buys you don’t expect in a mega auction: N. Ahmed — good R. Ashwin — emotional buy, didn’t click Conway — didn’t click post-injury Rachin — nothing much V. Shankar, Hooda, Tripathi — 👎🏻

4. You don't succeed by picking someone who plays good ODI or Test cricket. They might have had good knocks, but that doesn't guarantee IPL success. It's different. If you don't have what IPL requires, it will throw you out. As simple as that. Somehow we ended up close to playoff

3. There was no one to help at the top or middle, apart from Dhoni hitting boundaries. It was individual brilliance, not a team sport. We stuck with the same players regardless of form. Form is temporary, class is permanent — but that may not suit IPL or T20 anymore.

2. It looked like we brought players from ODI and Test cricket, trying to make them fit into T20 just because we fumbled in the auction. Hardly any attacking batsmen. Rutu was good and Dube too, but both had a big slump in the second half. Rizvi couldn't do anything.

1. We brought in players like Rachin and Daryl who hardly won us matches. Rachin had a decent start but wasn’t world-class for IPL standards — just a few okay knocks with nothing truly impactful. Daryl struggled to adapt and often looked out of touch, even timing the ball poorly.

Brevis is having hard times this season. But don't write him off ever. Yes he's not good recently, but he is one of those players who is just one match away from scoring whereas dube is someone whom you'd not trust much irrespective of however good he is. #CSKvLSG
