عرفان نبیان، معترض ۲۶ ساله اصفهانی که پس از بازداشت در اعتراضات سراسری دی‌ماه به اعدام محکوم شد، در گفت‌وگو با ایران‌اینترنشنال از شکنجه، اعتراف اجباری و اعدام نمایشی در دوران بازداشت خبر داد.
نبیان که نام شناسنامه‌ای او عرفان حاج‌بیانی دهقانی است، گفت بازجویان در سلول انفرادی به او گفتند: «وصیت‌نامه‌ات را بنویس.» سپس برگه‌ای در اختیارش گذاشتند و از او پرسیدند پیش از اعدام برای آخرین وعده غذایی چه می‌خواهد.
او گفت چند دقیقه بعد، چشم‌بسته به اتاق دیگری منتقل شد و از او خواستند روی چهارپایه بایستد و سپس طنابی دور گردنش انداختند.
نبیان گفت در حالی که طناب نزدیک به ۱۰ دقیقه دور گردنش بود، بازجویان همچنان درباره اعتراضات، رمز تلفن همراهش و اتهام‌های مرتبط با پرونده میدان علیخانی از او سوال می‌کردند.
پرونده میدان علیخانی در پی محاکمه گروهی از معترضان پس از درگیری‌های مرگبار اعتراضات ۱۸ دی‌ماه در اصفهان شکل گرفت. نبیان همچنین گفت در دوران بازداشت با معترضانی هم‌بند بوده که بعدها اعدام شدند.

Those were the words Iranian protester Erfan Nabian says he heard in solitary confinement before he was handed a sheet of paper and asked what he wanted for his final meal.
Nabian, whose legal name is Erfan Hajbonian Dehaghani, is a 26-year-old protester from Isfahan who was sentenced to death after being detained following Iran’s nationwide protests in January.
Speaking to Iran International from an undisclosed location, Nabian described torture, a coerced confession, a mock execution and imprisonment alongside protesters who were later executed.

حمید کوهساری، معترض ۳۱ ساله ایرانی که می‌گوید در جریان اعتراضات دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴ در گرگان از ناحیه پا هدف گلوله نیروهای امنیتی قرار گرفته، در گفت‌وگو با ایران‌اینترنشنال از تیراندازی مستقیم به معترضان، کشته و زخمی شدن شهروندان و هشت ماه زندگی مخفیانه خود پیش از خروج از ایران گفت.
کوهساری گفت ۱۸ دی ماه، زمانی که اعتراضات در گرگان مرکز استان گلستان گسترش یافته بود، نیروهای امنیتی مستقیما به سوی جمعیت آتش گشودند.
او که در اعتراضات آبان ۱۳۹۸ و اعتراضات سال ۱۴۰۱ پس از جان‌باختن مهسا ژینا امینی نیز شرکت کرده بود، گفت خشونتی که در دی‌ماه مشاهده کرد با تجربه‌های پیشین او قابل مقایسه نبود.
او گفت: «باورتان نمی‌شد چه می‌بینید. اسلحه‌ها را مستقیم به سمت جمعیت گرفتند و شلیک کردند. مردم مثل گنجشک روی زمین می‌افتادند.»
به‌گفته کوهساری، نیروهای امنیتی با سلاح‌هایی از نوع کلاشنیکف و تفنگ‌های ساچمه‌ای به معترضان شلیک می‌کردند و افرادی نیز در نقاط مرتفع مستقر شده بودند.

خانواده‌ها و نزدیکان کشته‌شدگان و معترضان دی‌ماه، به شکل‌های مختلف تلاش می‌کنند یاد جان‌باختگان و اعتراضات را زنده نگه دارند. یکی از شیوه‌های تازه، تتوهایی است که به یاد کشته‌شدگان یا با الهام از اتفاقات آن دوره زده می‌شود.

هنرمندان تتو، معترضان، زندانیان سیاسی سابق و بستگان کشته‌شدگان به ایران‌اینترنشنال گفتند که تتو چگونه به راهی برای حمل اعتراض، سوگ، هویت ملی و خاطره بر بدن تبدیل شده است.
از شیر و خورشید و تاج پهلوی گرفته تا شماره‌های یادبود، نام معترضان کشته‌شده و طرح‌هایی که با استفاده از زخم‌های ساچمه شکل گرفته‌اند، این تصاویر همگام با جنبش‌های اعتراضی ایران تحول یافته‌اند. اما همین تتوها نیز به هدف تبدیل شده‌اند.
ایران‌اینترنشنال روایت‌هایی را مستند کرده است که بر اساس آنها، محل تتوهای سیاسی در جریان بازجویی هدف ضرب‌وشتم قرار گرفته، با تیغ بریده شده، به قطع عضو تهدید شده و تتوها به اجبار پاک شده‌اند.

یک مقام دفاعی آمریکا در واکنش به بیانیه ارتش جمهوری اسلامی درباره حمله به پایگاه هوایی احمد الجابر در کویت و پایگاه هوایی المنهاد در امارات متحده عربی در بامداد پنجشنبه، به ایران اینترنشنال گفت: «هیچ‌یک از پایگاه‌های آمریکا هدف قرار نگرفته‌اند و وضعیت تمامی نیروهای نظامی آمریکا مشخص است.»

A US defense official denied Iran’s military claims that it struck US bases in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates early Thursday, telling Iran International that no US bases were hit.
“No U.S. bases were hit and all U.S. service members are accounted for,” the defense official said.
Iran’s military earlier said it had targeted satellite communications systems, equipment depots and fighter aircraft hangars at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait with missiles and drones.
It also claimed to have targeted US troop positions and radar systems at Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE.
