meet the points king.
he has more points than he knows what to do with. unfortunately, that's the problem.
a 2-min story on why pointscasa exists - probably my favourite video we've made.
if you're into points & miles, this one's for you.

Dear Customer is live.
Every business messages us from different numbers, so blocking usually does nothing.
So I built a Chrome extension that finds every business spamming your WhatsApp and bounces them in one click.
Free & open source. Link below. Sound on for video 🫶
human extinction felt like overkill so i built a chrome extension instead.
it finds businesses spamming you on whatsapp, sends STOP, blocks their numbers and deletes the chats. one click.
found 304 businesses using 409 numbers in my inbox. finance buddha alone had messaged me from 14 different numbers.
anyone want early access? planning to open source it in a few days.
also planning a public wall of shame that doubles as a shared spam list for the extension. so you don’t have to discover all 14 finance buddha numbers yourself.

Trust me - this is a lifesaver if you use apps or tools that require a VPN!

we couldn't afford to build @pointscasa out of our own savings and nobody was going to fund us either.
so we got an idea. we opened 100 lifetime spots.
we were like, “eh, nobody’s going to buy this.” so let’s price it at ₹5k.
well, a couple weeks ago, we sold spot 99. for close to ₹50k.
and now only one remains.
we kept raising the price as the product became more real.
and the earliest members weren’t buying a finished product. they were mostly trusting two random dudes building something cool.
interestingly, one of those spots belongs to a bollywood director.
another to someone who puts crores on their credit cards every month.
i’ve called @ayanlogs in the middle of the night after some of these sales, genuinely in disbelief.
because these people were trusting us while we were still finding our own footing.
that trust gave us the room to build. so thank you, to each of you.
and now comes phase 2.
more conviction. more firepower.
we’re not just trying to build a cool product anymore.
we’re going to war in an industry dominated by the same giants for decades.
time to lock in :)

when we launched @pointscasa last september, our landing page was a janky demo video and a problem statement.
that problem statement converted visitors to users at 10%+. but we knew we needed to look more credible.
every month i'd tell @ayanlogs "i need to sit and redo the landing page", and then go work on 10 other things instead.
this month we finally sat down and did it. have a look:

a year ago @pointscasa was a landing page and a waitlist.
1,500 people joined in the first 72 hours.
today: 15,000+ users, 1.2+ billion points & miles tracked, 2,000+ award searches every week.
here's everything we've built since then 👇

(long tweet warning)
context switching is now a skill.
--
when i was a PM, 100 things would randomly appear on my todo list.
i hated switching context because doing it too frequently usually meant optimising for the number of things completed, not the number of things done really well.
but AI has changed that.
right now, claude is working on a new landing page for @pointscasa, codex is handling a backend optimisation, and cursor is doing some shady side business stuff.
my job is no longer to do all three things myself.
my job is to make sure all three agents understand what good looks like, keep them moving in the right direction, and QA what they produce.
you can get FAR more things done without necessarily compromising on quality.
and as execution and taste become increasingly commoditised, the challenge is no longer doing everything yourself.
it’s figuring out which 10 of the 100 things deserve attention, giving each one the right context, and having the mental bandwidth to orchestrate all of them well.
as revenue grows, you can run more agents, attempt more things, and manage more contexts at once.
eventually, the bottleneck is no longer execution.
it’s your ability to imagine what is worth doing and keep track of everything that is now possible.
the strange part is that our capacity to execute may grow much faster than our brains’ ability to comprehend what we can now achieve with the time we have.
Coming v soon! 🏨
We’ve been building something for hotel points.
What's your biggest pain point with hotel redemptions?
@pointscasa
Always thought IndiGo BluChips wasn't a great programme until I booked my Vietnam return.
Worked out to roughly ₹1.15 per BluChip for 2 passengers, even after accounting for the higher taxes.
Sharing the booking screenshots along with a small BluChips summary chart (both international and domestic) in case it's useful for anyone looking at redemptions.

I read @paulg essays back when my old boss / mentor told me to. he said they're kind of the gospel of the startup world.
and some of the essays truly became the fundamentals behind how I think about building a startup.
one concept that truly stuck with me: doing things that don't scale.
and here's a few things we do at @pointscasa that clearly don't scale:
1. a "whatsapp us" button on the site.
anyone can dm us directly, and people do. bugs, improvements, feedback. one of the few things i genuinely love receiving.
better than any support crm i've used.
2. a community of people who paid.
it's actually three groups: 📢 announcements, 🎙️feedback, and ☕ charcha (members chatting among themselves).
most of our focus goes to the feedback one. live QA, bug fixing, anything that turns up there we prioritise. they paid, so we want their experience to be impeccable.
3. free demos.
any new user who signs up can book a call with @ayanlogs and I directly and figure out how to actually use the product.
a lot of these folks we did calls with ended up becoming lifetime members once they realised what we're trying to build. these are our earliest investors. they trusted us before any institutional one did.

✨ tiny drop 006, live refresh in the flight explorer
premium members can now refresh older flight explorer results directly from the table.
tap refresh and we’ll recheck every source from that search! prices and availability update live as results come back.
fresh flights you can actually book. :)
📈
"how many points do people even have in India"
our tiny startup is not even a year old.
we're already tracking 1B+ points across credit cards and loyalty programs.
