Put the right tools in the hands of ambitious builders and they'll show you things you didn't expect.
Great seeing that in action at our @awscloud Global Meeting this week.
Thanks to @mza for hosting, @odysseyml's @olivercameron for showing us Agora-2, and @Francessca_V and @steipete, creator of @openclaw and now at @OpenAI, for a great conversation on how AI is changing the way developers build.
Grateful to everyone pushing the work forward.

Another exciting development in our chips business as Meta has decided to bet big on Graviton, our leading CPU chip—committing to tens of millions of Graviton cores.
Agentic AI is becoming almost as big a CPU story as a GPU story. Complex multi-step orchestration, real-time reasoning, and code generation at scale is CPU-intensive work. And, our purpose-built Graviton5 instances deliver up to 33% lower latency between cores, which matters a lot for these kinds of workloads.
Meta has been a longtime AWS customer and one of our biggest users of Bedrock... looking forward to what they build with Graviton5. aboutamazon.com/news/aws/met…

Simulation-first approach to robotic production lines! 👾
At Hannover Messe, @awscloud (AWS) and @SoftServeInc are demonstrating a fully autonomous, AI-powered manufacturing workflow.
Design a product using generative AI, then watch it move through the entire process: engraving, inspection, and delivery, handled by a mix of robots working together powered by physical AI on AWS.
The interesting part is how the system is built. Getting robots into production is usually where things fall apart.
SoftServe takes a simulation-first approach using AWS. They build and test the entire system virtually: robot behavior, production flow, before deploying anything physically. This enables faster iteration, safe edge case testing, and significantly reduced sim-to-real gap.
Their demo includes AMRs handling transport, cobots doing precise manipulation, AI-driven quality inspection, and humanoid interaction at the end.
All connected through a unified, software-defined layer powered by AWS.
It's about building a system where robots can adapt, coordinate, and scale without rebuilding everything from scratch every time.

Excited about our new strategic partnership with @OpenAI. Developers and companies of all kinds are eager to run services powered by OpenAI models on AWS, and our unique collaboration will provide a stateful runtime environment for them that’s powered by OpenAI’s frontier intelligence on Amazon Bedrock.
OpenAI is also going big on our custom Trainium chips, which are 30-40% more price performant than comparable GPUs, to power their growth. Both the leading AI labs now have made significant commitments to Trainium, which is gaining a lot of momentum.
We’ll be the exclusive 3P cloud distribution provider for OpenAI Frontier (which enables organizations to build, deploy, and manage teams of AI agents).
And finally, we’re excited about our investment in OpenAI — it’s an extremely talented team with great products, IP, and vision for how they can continue to serve customers and enterprises. We think they’ll be one of the big winners in AI, we can help them grow, and we believe we’ll earn a strong return for Amazon over the long term. aboutamazon.com/news/aws/ama…
