A thing that made me love Steve Wright is that he was so obsessed with radio. In the days before the internet he would go on holiday to New York and just sit in the hotel room flicking through the stations, listening with fascination to what the Americans were doing. I love that

People talk about Irish wakes, but this is quite the Irish funeral. Shane McGowan going out in style. Amazing performance of “Fairytale of New York’ by Glen Hansard, Lisa O’Neill, and company. Love it! ☘️💚 xitter.cf/gavreilly/status/17331…

Something VERY EXCITING today. The #ABCKids smart speaker experience is live! Kids listen has been working on this with digital product for over 3 years, so over the moon to have it out in the world.

Audio in 2022 was a crazy ride: Facebook in and out, hyping podcast downloads, Amazon's Amp up & out in 8 months, spoken word rises, YouTube podcasts, fewer podcasts -- our annual review: #podcasting #radio bit.ly/3Bg9bVF

Cliff Jones (now 87) and Terry Medwin (90), meeting Gareth Bale. Cliff and Terry were a big part of the great Spurs team who won the double in 1961, and played for Wales at the 1958 World Cup. I love everything about this, especially Cliff checking that Gareth doesn’t smoke
