Is there still hope for us?
I’m tired of watching the same problems repeat themselves while ordinary Malaysians are left wondering whether anything will ever truly change.
@partibersamamy, please give us something to believe in by the next election.

Riwayat Bukhari

regulate myself when everything feels too much and understand that a feeling doesn’t always have to become an action. Even after 7 years, it’s still not perfect. My therapist still struggles sometimes to break through the walls and defence mechanisms I’ve built over the years.
Some sessions leave me happy, some leave me completely exhausted because we touched something I’ve buried for too long. But compared to who I was seven years ago, I know how to navigate myself much better now. Will therapy make you feel okay?
Maybe it is time to explore @partibersamamy to understand its potential.

Last one for the night before I disappear into the sunset (again).
Anwar has nowhere else to go, it's over. Why?
1. PKR is broken from the inside, there is no fixing the damage.
2. DAP no longer enjoys enough Chinese support to help you in swing seats.
3. Amanah is non existent and even if you think of bringing Bersatu into PH, both of these two parties combined will still get less than 10% Malay votes.
4. Sabah and Sarawak will do what is best for them. They have no issues working with PN or BN. They will not save you.
12 months ago, I would have argued for some sort of a deal between
Tengku Zafrul and Rafizi to lead PKR, and work with PAS. Shame no one in Anwar's circle had enough brain cells to understand realpolitik.
I am already dealing with a broken heart. Knowing that PH may not win in Negeri Sembilan only makes the pain worse.
Is there still hope for PH in the future or is this another loss I have to accept?

Be happy, get judged.
You were not born to spend your life proving your worth to others. You were born to live, to grow through every difficult season, to survive the days that tried to break you and to become someone you are proud of.
Let them judge. Your life is still yours to live.

How have you guys been holding up?

People have exactly a two-week limit on their sympathy. When you first break down, everyone is supportive. But if your depression lasts longer than a fortnight, they get incredibly annoyed.
You are not allowed to have long-term struggles. Society expects you to have a quick, cinematic breakdown, cry it out over the weekend, and bounce back to being productive by Monday.
The exact second they realize your depression isn't just a temporary mood swing but a constant struggle, the "take all the time you need" energy completely vanishes.
They stop checking in and start treating your mental state like a deliberate character flaw. You aren't struggling anymore; you are just "not trying hard enough" or "choosing to be miserable."

Sometimes we ask Allah to open a door, but instead, He gives us a mirror. Not because He wants us to suffer longer, but because there’s something within us He wants us to see. The mirror reveals our wounds, the ones we’ve buried deep. It reflects our fears, our pain, and our need for healing.
But through that reflection, we slowly begin to heal. We start to understand that maybe what we were asking for wasn’t what we truly needed.
Allah wasn’t saying no. He was preparing something more beautiful, shaping it within us before the good things could arrive. He was making us ready.
Because in the end, Allah will never let us down. He heals our souls before He answers our prayers, making sure we are strong enough, whole enough, and ready enough for the good things He has written for us.
