My thoughts on Vivo V80 after using it for more than three weeks 👀 ▶️ Display is quite good according to me. Outdoor brightness and under sunlight, its clearly visible because of 1800 Nits HBM. HDR content watching is also fine. System runs in 120 Hz and in some games we can get upto 144 Hz refresh rate. Its a LTPS panel though I wanted an LTPO panel at this price. 6.59" display is comfortable to hold. Overall I liked the display. ▶️ Camera is fine again with lots of features and Customizations in the camera application. A good Main Cam of 1/1.56" works good both at daylight and low light. Similarly the W shaped 1/1.95" 3X Periscope also works fine. No telemacro suppory. UW Cam is pretty below average and could have been better. Selfie is also decent though whitening of skin needs to be little less. Videography with Main Cam and Periscope Cam is nice. ▶️ It consists a 7200 mAh battery with 90 W of fast wired charging. I am getting 8.5 hours of Screen on time in my daily usage with 5G SIM card. I will say its nice. ▶️ Performance is decent I would say. Vivo V70 Elite got a better Processor though. Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in Vivo V80 is decent enough for day to day task. But in this price segment a little better processor could have been given. Normal games can be played easily. Day to day task is also handled properly. ▶️ It is the first smartphone to come with OriginOS 7 out of the box. OriginOS 7 is a good upgrade over OriginOS 6. Some new Customizations are good. Some features are cut unlike flagship smartphone version like all other UIs. I like OriginOS 7. Some lags and jitters are there which needs to be fixed. ▶️ It has IP69 rating and USB Type C 2.0 Port. Dual stereo speakers are loud though lacks proper bass. Surprisingly it got a X axis haptic motor which I like. Vivo V80 Pricing starts from ₹ 62,999 for 8/128 GB variant. Well, pricing is on higher side. And its with every brand because of memory and storage parts price hike. Can't do anything on that. Its a universal issue. I wish storage price hike can be controlled as soon as possible 👀
