So glad to see you found a nice environment in Barca to continue your research as PI in cancer genomics. Many congrats!! Looking forward to your future projects with your friends at @HartwigMedical.
Thrilled to announce that today I begin a new chapter as Junior Group leader at the @VHIO in Barcelona. My team will work in close collaboration with the @HartwigMedical studying multiple facets of tumorigenesis and its interplay with the immune system 1/4

Our work on CUP detection now online.
CUPLR, developed by @luannnguyen0, detects prim tumor type from WGS data. WGS-based DNA tests with CUPLR will improve diagnostics for cancer patients whose primary tumor is unknown, which is reimbursed in 🇳🇱 for these patients.

The metastatic cohort data is via the Hartwig database (see Dr. @ecuppen tweetorial linked below). An incredible freely available resource for the cancer research community.
Pleased to announce our novel catalog interface of the Hartwig database with whole genome sequenced tumor genomes: catalog.hartwigmedicalfounda…. Currently more than 5,000 patients, including treatment and response data. Plus RNA-seq data for more than half of the patients.
