Summit Tournament Came to a close…
The HERD go 3-2 on the weekend!
Nothing better than coming out with a winning record against some of the best teams in the area!
Thank you @rshs_softball for putting on yet again another great tournament!
See ya next week!
Thank you Coach Jeff! Excited for this season🧡💙
Back for her 7th year with our squad is #28 @avery_watson28!
A 2028 IF/OF, Avery is an athletic presence that can impact the game in numerous ways. Her versatility on defense is an asset to our squad, as she is capable of locking down multiple spots on the infield and outfield. She also brings a nice blend of speed and extra-base pop to our lineup, with her speed helping her finish second on our team in stolen bases in 2026.
Dubs shows an ability to grind out at bats and puts pressure on the defense with her ability to drive the ball into gaps and hunt extra bags on the bases. Also a very good bunter, Avery is adept at moving runners or challenging the defense for hits playing the short game.
Avery’s strong athleticism in the field fills a variety of roles on defense. She has good range in the OF and shows a strong arm. On the IF, she has quick feet and good hands, allowing her to handle both middle infield spots along with 3B.
With an impressive softball IQ and potent athletic tools, Dubs is a key piece to our squad that plays a huge role on offense, on the bases and on defense.
Looking forward to another great season, Dubs!

Game 8 of brackets at the @thealliancefp AFCS Championship - which determined a spot in the Final Four of the event - concluded last night with a 3-2 loss. The loss ended our run at the AFCS and concluded our 2025 season.
A top 5 finish in our Tier - which included some thrilling comebacks and walk-off victories on our end - was a great way to wind down a very productive season!
Overall Highlights from the season:
-🥇HFL Fall Championship Bracket (securing our bid to the 2025 AFCS)
-🥈PG March Madness
-🥇Hustle City/Alliance
-🥉Top Gun Events Heartland Showcase
-🥇Triple Crown Nationals Silver Division
-Top 5 at Alliance AFCS Tier III
Overall a very successful season filled with lots of growth and continued development! Very proud of this group for enduring throughout the season! Looking forward to a nice little break and resetting in the fall of 2026 for our first season at the 16u level!
