REACTION: Lamont’s new ad promises teachers a pay raise. But liberal-leaning columnist Dan Haar fact-checked it: “There ain’t no pay raise.” No proposal from Lamont to anything like a pay raise for teachers: Not in eight years and not now. Lamont lies about his own record AND mine: I proposed $200 million in new education funding and a tax cut on school supplies *just this year* as a Senator. We need new leadership to support all families and students.
