A few friends have asked me whether the strike at Micron is bullish for the memory sector. My answer is that it should be good news for Samsung and SK hynix, but it’s likely bad news for Micron.
You’re probably thinking I’m stating the obvious. But when an SK hynix fab caught fire back in the early 2010s, SK hynix itself actually benefited significantly. DRAM prices were so low at the time that the gains from the resulting surge in memory ASPs more than offset the losses caused by the fire.
This time, though… memory ASPs aren’t particularly low, and for Micron, the opportunity cost of the strike looks likely to outweigh any potential upside.

Trump’s endorsement of Netanyahu is political suicide ahead of the midterms, yet he did it anyway
He risked his own political future for Bibi, and that speaks volumes about Israel’s influence over Trump and U.S. politics

$ASTS Name is now -70% off the ATH's set just a few months ago. Oof.
Siting in this really critical $35-$42 area of support.
Let's see if i can hold...

Typowa spółka zarobiła z dywidendami +39%, a WIG +244%.
Hossę zrobiła garstka dużych spółek i małe rakiety, nie szeroki rynek.

$MU - The 24-25 bear market lasted 42 weeks with a 61% drawdown. That happened after a mild bull market in 23-24, so after the parabolic bull market of 25-26 the drawdown in the current bear market will be at least 60% and will probably end in 2027. The minimal target is 500.

A lot of stocks are starting to show signs of Stage 3, and I think it's important to understand what could potentially come next
I've always believed in one simple philosophy when it comes to trading:
Hope for the best, but ALWAYS prepare for the worst
Especially when the market starts showing signs that the trend could be changing
I'm watching names like $MU, $SNDK, and several other semiconductor stocks for the possibility that they could be transitioning from a Stage 3 topping structure into a Stage 4 decline
That doesn't mean it's guaranteed to happen
BUT
Understanding the possibility is exactly why studying market cycles is so important
For those unfamiliar with Stage Analysis, stocks generally move through four stages:
Stage 1: Accumulation: Price builds a base, institutions potentially accumulate shares, and the stock trades sideways
Stage 2: Advancing: Price breaks out of the base, volume expands, and a strong uptrend develops above a rising weekly moving average
Stage 3: Topping/Distribution: Momentum begins fading, price becomes increasingly choppy, breakouts start failing, and the 30-week moving average begins flattening
Stage 4 Declining: Price breaks below its Stage 3 trading range, the longer-term moving average turns lower, and a sustained downtrend can develop
One historical example I encourage everyone to study is $ARKK in 2021
After an incredible Stage 2 advance, $ARKK began losing momentum.
The stock stopped making meaningful progress, rallies increasingly struggled, and a topping structure eventually transitioned into a prolonged Stage 4 decline.
Now compare that structure with the weekly chart of $MU today
There are some interesting similarities in the progression from an explosive advance to weakening momentum, volatile rebounds, and pressure on the broader trend
I'm NOT saying $MU is going to follow the exact same path as $ARKK, but the structural similarities are worth understanding
And this is the important part:
Stage 3 doesn't always transition into Stage 4
Sometimes a stock consolidates, rebuilds strength, and breaks out into another Stage 2 advance
That's why price action, volume, weekly moving averages, and confirmation matter so much
You don't need to predict what's going to happen next
You need to understand the different scenarios and recognize when the evidence supporting your original thesis has changed
The absolute worst thing you can do is become emotionally attached to a position, ignore every warning sign, and simply pray while holding forever without knowing when you're wrong
There is a massive difference between having conviction and being unwilling to accept that your thesis might be incorrect
Being a good trader isn't about being right all the time. It's about knowing how to handle the situations when you're wrong
Hope for the best
Prepare for the worst
Because protecting your capital and your ability to participate in future opportunities will always be more important than proving a thesis right.

Something VERY interesting happened in the stock market today...
For the first time in a while, we're starting to see CAPITULATION-STYLE VOLUME OFF THE LOWS in a lot of stocks
And I don't think enough people understand why this is so important
For the past few months, trading volume has been incredibly low
A lot of fund managers and institutions have seemingly been sitting on the sidelines, waiting for better opportunities to deploy capital
When institutional participation is lacking, stocks have a much harder time sustaining moves. Breakouts fail, rallies get sold, and momentum becomes increasingly difficult to find
BUT
Today we finally started seeing something different...
Stocks that had been selling off for several consecutive sessions began attracting significant volume near their lows
And more importantly, PRICE WAS GETTING BOUGHT UP
This is what we refer to as CAPITULATION VOLUME
Here's why it matters:
When a stock has been declining for several days, fear starts building.
-Longs begin panic-selling
-Weak hands capitulate
-Late shorts chase the breakdown
-Price becomes overextended below its moving averages
-Selling volume accelerates
Eventually, you can reach a point where an enormous amount of selling occurs in a very short period
But here's the important part...
What happens when all that selling volume comes in, yet price STOPS going lower?
That's where things get interesting
If a stock trades on unusually high volume near its lows but begins recovering and closes near the highs of its candle, it can indicate that buyers are absorbing the selling pressure
Think about the psychology...
Everyone wants out, yet somebody is willing to take the other side of those transactions
And when enough demand steps in, the selling pressure can become exhausted, leading to a very aggressive reversal
This is one of the most important concepts in Volume Price Analysis (VPA).
But how can we actually take advantage of this?
Here's what I look for:
1. CAPITULATION VOLUME
A sharp decline after several consecutive red days, followed by unusually high volume near the lows
2. A CHANGE IN PRICE ACTION
I want to see the stock stop making new lows, form a hammer or bullish engulfing candle, and begin closing near its highs
3. THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE V
I'm NOT trying to predict the bottom.
I want to see price reclaim important levels, establish higher lows, and begin breaking its sequence of lower highs
4. VOLUME CONFIRMATION
Ideally, volume expands on the recovery and contracts during pullbacks
This can indicate that buying interest is returning while selling pressure is weakening
5. FOLLOW-THROUGH
One strong reversal candle isn't enough to confirm a lasting bottom
I want to see whether buyers continue defending the lows over the following sessions, with price eventually reclaiming important moving averages and building constructive bases
Now here's the MOST important takeaway...
Today's volume does NOT necessarily mean the market has bottomed
Capitulation can happen multiple times throughout a correction, and a large volume candle by itself doesn't prove institutional accumulation
However, after months of relatively weak participation, seeing this type of volume return near the lows is something worth paying very close attention to
It could be an early indication that fund managers and institutions are beginning to find attractive opportunities in quality companies at these lower prices
And if this buying interest continues, it may eventually lead to stronger accumulation patterns and a healthier market environment
Remember:
A bottom isn't confirmed by one big green candle
Bottoming is a PROCESS:
First comes capitulation
Then the reversal
Then accumulation and improving price structure
&
Eventually, if demand continues to build, a new uptrend can develop
Today was the first encouraging sign of meaningful buying interest near the lows that I've seen in a while
Now the question is whether that demand can sustain itself over the coming sessions
That's what I'll be paying attention to

wanna know the worst thing about today’s price action?
the stock market falling should be causing yields to fall because people would be rotating to bonds…
but yields are up, meaning people are selling stocks AND bonds which is *literally* the worst case scenario in this macro
last time this happened was April 2025 and once SPY fell 30% and the 10-yr peaked at 4.8%, Trump pulled back the tariffs
if the market falling can’t help bonds, at that point the only thing left is for Trump to step in
