At the end of a run that leaves you tired asf, you realize most of what you want was never really yours to begin with.
You only realize you weren’t free once you’re sober enough to look back.
Once you gather yourself, you find everything you thought you were, you were not.

Speed often begins with momentum, and momentum first requires slow steps.
What matters is learning to walk before you can run.
Don't snap yourself into your will all at once. That rarely works, the human must adapt. That is how we are built.
Begin willing through small changes, little pieces of progress that gradually accumulate over time.
So whatever you are working on or trying to fix, remain patient. Because someday this will be like “overnight success” when you gain that compounding effect from super-efforts.
Visionaries are gifted with the ability to see, yet the ‘will’ often remains their greatest blind spot.
Such light can blind a man, and aspirants/dreamers are only trapped in a dream.
What becomes reality is when he learns to ground himself in darkness, and spark that light consciously.
Ambition becomes trapped within the gates of thinking. Only when it passes through thought and enters the will does ambition transform into something real.

Tragic that this picture might be the last one we'll ever get of Maeda (it was more than 4 years ago).
I pray for Jun Maeda, and his family. His stories really left huge impressions on me, I only wish the best for such a great talent.
