Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana already seems to have several issues, but the song “Main Ram” might be the most glaring one. 😭
The song and its lyrics show that the director, writer, producer, and even Ranbir Kapoor haven’t understood the character of Prabhu Shri Ram.
How do you make a film about Bhagwan Ram without understanding the very essence of his character?
“Ab tak sab saha, kuch bhi na kaha, par ab na sahunga ye.”
Is this really how you interpret Shri Ram’s character? The restraint, dignity, compassion, and righteousness that define him seem to be missing from this portrayal.
Also, the music sounds like Saiyaara. 😭😭
