London Assembly election 2024
The headlines on Saturday were all about🔴Labour winning the West Central constituency ... and🟡Lib Dems winning South West constituency
But what happened elsewhere?
Let's take a look at how each of the main parties fared

Replying to @avds
Since original London Assembly election in 2000 - only 3 seats have ever changed hands, and only 1 seat at any election
2024 is the first time two seats have changed at an election
And first time 🟡Lib Dems have won a constituency
And lowest🔵Con & highest🔴constituency seats
London Assembly election 2024
🟡Lib Dems
@LondonLibDems have mixed results
As well as winning SW, LDs climbed from 4th to 3rd place in three places
But they dropped from 4th to 5th in two places
And they dropped from 4th to 6th in Havering & Redbridge
They have no 2nd places
London Assembly election 2024
🟣ReformUK
In 2021 @ReformParty_UK came 5th in all fourteen constituencies
In 2024 Reform climbed to 4th in two places
And they jumped to 3rd in Havering & Redbridge and also Bexley & Bromley
London Mayoral Election 2024
🔴Sadiq Khan 44% RE-ELECTED
🔵Susan Hall 33%
🟡Rob Blackie 6%
🟢Zoë Garbett 6%
🟣Howard Cox 3%
🔴3.2% swing from Conservative to Labour - compared with 1st preference vote in 2021
🟡Liberal Democrats "lost" votes from Constituency ballot to the List ballot in all 14 places
Apart from South West (see above), the Lib Dems lost more than one third of their vote in 3 places
In total LDs shed 55k votes - a full 26%
Notable that "Rejoin EU" won 63k votes
IF all 62,528 Londoners who voted for @RejoinP had voted for @LibDem instead on the List ballot
The🟡Lib Dems would have gained a 2nd List seat
And the LD London Mayoral candidate @RobBlackie would be sitting on the London Assembly instead of @CllrGeorgiou
