Really saddened by the news of Nana ji’s passing.
He was one of those rare actors who never needed to do too much to make you sit up and watch. That voice, that intensity, that honesty in every performance… he was completely his own.
I feel fortunate that we got to work together in Welcome, and then again more recently in Housefull 5. There are so many memories from those sets that I’ll always hold close.
Nana ji was truly one of a kind. It’s hard to believe you’re gone.
Thank you for all the memories. You will be missed more than words can say. 🙏

Veteran actor Nana Patekar has passed away at the age of 75 at a private hospital in Dona Paula, Goa. His death was confirmed by his son, Malhar Patekar.
The actor was reportedly rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious at his residence. He was known for his powerful performances in films including Krantiveer, Parinda, Agni Sakshi, Natsamrat and Welcome.
Nana Patekar, born Vishwanath Patekar, was one of Indian cinema's most acclaimed actors, winning three National Film Awards and the Padma Shri.

United States marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, remembering the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in the deadliest attack on US soil.
On 11th September 2001, four hijacked passenger planes were used as weapons, striking the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania. The attacks killed 2,977 people, including 441 first responders in New York City.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed when al-Qaida hijackers crashed four planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania. This year’s ceremonies will also honour people who later died after exposure to toxic dust at Ground Zero.
From airport security to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the attacks’ impact is still felt far beyond the United States.
