I literally want to cry. Many are suddenly subbing to VLO and binge reading. Since the news last week, I recieved 155,000 ink donations. I feel so appreciated but feel guilty for what's happening 😭🫂
As readers learn about the shutdown, losing subs has begun. All of my books except 1 have lost around 10 since Tuesday 😭
Interestingly, VLO gains 10 a day and over 1k views and 100 likes. I am so happy it's still going strong.

I need a settlement from Kakao for emotional distress, I've literally lost 4 pounds, can't sleep, and skipping breakfast/lunch from lack of appetite. I also had to email the artist that I have to cancel my new "Bondage" cover. I constantly want to cry at work. Ugh.
I just realized my two little omegaverse books were in what was probably the last big Tapas ink event...
My edits have officially ended and no editor now, so I guess this means no more chapters? I'm still trying to figure things out... please 😭😭😭😭

It seems that it wasn’t Kakao’s intention (yet) for things to come out as they did. So to deal with the aftermath, they’ve officially laid us all off but management doesn’t really understand what’s happening. We got a very mixed general message of “well… this is it! Bye guys!”.
This is hitting me harder than it should. I can't sleep well. I haven't been able to eat today. I guess this is grieving about the time spent on Tapas, building a name, the fan base, the opportunities... reading the comments left on my chapters today really makes it feel real.

Heads up, Tapas readers: Based on my experience with the Radish closure last year as a creator, Kakao closed their coin store on 9/1, and then Radish shut down on 12/31. They also didn't allow any new content to be released once a creator went through their scheduled buffer.
Hi, everyone! After getting only three hours of sleep from the Tapas shutdown stress, I woke up before sunrise to set up a Ko-fi. I rely on Tapas for my income and this is just... devastating. I appreciate any support 🩵

It's after 1 AM, very wide awake and belly hurts from stress, but I should try to sleep. Tomorrow is a holiday in Japan, so I might set up a Ko-Fi and work on my deadlines since I still have to feed my readers with omegaverse cuddles.
