Is Michael Mann finally going to restore the scene in Manhunter where Dollarhyde waits endlessly to order off of the Dollar Menu???

all of the answers i was hoping i would get about YCSE from that nathan interview are actually in this (fantastic) profile of lance oppenheim: he explains how [redacted] got involved, holmes' relationship dynamics IRL, and whether nathan was being real vulture.com/article/lance-op…
Found a public album of an electrician's photos from inside the World Trade Center then got pulled into browsing his other albums from the late 90s and early 2000s.

2025: Nathan Fielder and Tom Cruise each release their own insane, plane-centric stunts, weeks apart
2026: Nathan Fielder and Tom Cruise each release their own insane, deconstructionist films, weeks apart
Imagine waking up from a very long coma in October 2026 and thinking it's commonplace for new movies to make you think about them deeply for days to come lol

“The child in the ICE shooting wasn’t harmed”
If my child was in the car with me and saw me get shot, they were 100% harmed.

Hey so ICE shooting a car with a 5 year old child in it is exactly what the IDF does to Palestinian families

To understand why this is, watch Digger
Can't help but think of how this relates to Digger, released the very same week as this vid.
The masses want to "feel good" (consequences be damned), and those with power know it, enable it and profit from it to no end. All while presenting themselves as a helper and a hero.
The CEO of Suno, a gen AI music company, blatantly saying that he doesn't give a shit about the artists whose work his tech steals from and profits off of as long as his customers get to be creative and have fun and there's no significant pushback!
Really hope Scorsese or Spielberg host a one-on-one conversation with Iñárritu about Digger. What do the filmmakers of 'Killers of the Flower Moon' and 'Munich' think about *this* kind of approach to and depiction of man-made horrors and manipulation??

If we start destroying the lives of young rapists, we might avoid having old rapists in charge of everything in the future.!!
Just found this clip buried in a VHS recording on the Internet Archive: Anthony Hopkins in 1994, praising Charles Grodin in Elaine May's The Heartbreak Kid (1972)
Replying to @FincherAnalyst
@FincherAnalyst just stumbled upon unlabeled clips from a Q&A for The Social Network at the 48th NYFF, likely the night its premiere. These clips have between 0 and 2 views! Not sure if the full Q&A is elsewhere, but figured I'd sent your way: Clip 1 youtube.com/watch?v=UhoOVRC2…
