Also big fan of the Felix roaming. $20 for 4GB of data and it lasts effectively forever if you buy one pack per year.

Agree, I'm on Vodafone's subsidiary, Felix and works blazingly fast and coverage always good even in the Siemens trains on the Sandy line where Telstra had blackspots.

Vodafone serves me well on Felix. Think everyone left after Vodafail so it's good now. Also you get free roaming on Optus in regions too.

On a fwd looking basis you will struggle to find a company of this size, quality & lifespan cheaper on Earth. Boom boom boom go the drums... 馃馃 $YAL.AX #coaltwitter
The mrkt did this last cycle too w/ a long lag before the equities responded & when they did it was aggressive. I believe it's due to the lack of coverage both domestically & globally in addition to the 3month contract lag.. once the reported earnings flow through, the fire will properly ignite as the mrkt goes "omg look at that cash flow".. 馃ザ鉂勶笍鈽冿笍 #coaltwitter #TTF #LNG #Rott #NEWC $WHC.AX $YAL.AX $NHC.AX $SMR.AX $TER.AX $BTU $TGA.L $GLEN $COAL

Wrong. Govt spending needs to be reduced to counter inflation.

Surely someone worth $200 odd million can at least have some self respect.

It all looks cheap. Won't find the unknown liability on the balance sheet. You'd need to sign up, not provide a TFN and then realised they stuff up.

Indeed, you called it well with the director stepping down.

Yep they basically didn't withhold tax *since* 2015 for investors who didn't provide a TFN. It's one of the most basic rules of tax law for funds. It's insanity. The costs could be very high given their FUM and it comes down to the ATO in part.

Unfortunately, I cut some today. What an absolute mess and I'm sure someone must have known for a while given how rookie such a mistake is. They could at the very least work out a rough number.

It all hinged on something you couldn't really know unless you signed up and didn't provide a TFN.

I wonder which cards people are mostly using to earn points? As far as I know only Amex and some business cards can get them. Granted the card companies may effectively void all points to give the ATO a sharper rate. Even so it makes sense to pay tax on card as it eases cashflow and you can offset debt in the meantime.

Sounds odd to put hell in the name.

There is logic in this however the real folly is government spending too much and relying on generational wealth to fill its coffers in an ever increasing unproductive and toxic investment environment with insane taxes. Unfortunately she is part of the problem.
The sharp drop in stamp duty shows the folly of relying on a highly cyclical tax to pay for state-delivered essential services. States should now set out a transition to a more stable, less distortive land tax and the feds should back them.
